Easily the biggest game of the weekend and will decide the premier league title in Manchester United's favour. I predict 0-4 to United including a hatrick by Depay on the sub's bench! Interesting fact: I found out (from a friend who was pushing it upon me) the Harry Potter museum is somewhere near Watford and that I really should take the kids there. Then I saw the price of tickets and apparently one of those chocolate frogs cost £13 or something ridiculous like that, and I thought **** that
-------------De Gea Valencia Bailly Smalling Shaw ----Fellaini -- Pogba Rashford---Rooney----Martial ----------The Beast
we will not win as long as Rooney is starting just bcz he is fkn Captain and bigger than the club.. nothing justify him ahead of Mkhitaryan or Mata
What gets me is that if van Gaal had us set up and playing in this way he'd be getting slaughtered. Yet everyone is looking to blame Rooney, not the manager who has sent the team out to play this way. Why is Mourinho so immune? It's him who needs to sort it as the whole team is playing ****e, not just one player.
The manager is at fault for playing Rooney in a position where he has become so ineffective that he can't even register a single shot at goal. I am definitely not washing Mourinho's hands off this. This is his team, his fault! BTW, Rooney has been SHYTE so far! Hardworking without guile!
He's struggling to take a corner now. Don't think he's up to much in any position whichever other players are picked to get the best out of him. Plenty have looked poor but I honestly think he's been the worst.
What Mourinho is doing is a real head scratcher to continue playing him. Very reminiscent of first games of last season when Rooney was atrocious but LvG kept playing him.
Fellaini is playing well here, fair play. Him instead of Schneiderlin in a three man midfield could work a treat.
I think the difference is that Mourinho needs time and should be given it. My belief (rightly or wrongly) that while Mourinho tries to bed in the new players with the old, he's using Fellaini as a sticking plaster. In that sense, I'm going to be quite patient with Mourinho as I think he'll develop this squad into a solid outfit, eventually without Fellaini My only real criticism of him so far is that he thought we could go a season with Valencia as RB.
Right back. Not sure he's got as much time as he'd like though. Much as I agree he needs it. He needs to sort out his preferred formation. Quick.
Well we've lost this one as well. I think what's disappointing is that you can't even take comfort from the performance. Rooney and Fellaini to be dropped I'm afraid.
Penalty against Fellaini. Can anyone really defend this bloke ever playing for United again. The guy is a talentless lumbering oaf!
