    You can tell how some players live on reputation..

    The Spurs seem to really fear Ighalo and Capoue...

    Hopefully they keep a eye off Amrabat as he is the only attacking play in form.

    So stretched are Mazzarri’s resources that he is considering including some of Harry Kewell’s under-23 players in his squad for the next two games. Full-backs Andrew Eleftheriou and Brandon Mason, Rhyle Ovendene and Michael Folivi are all on standby.

    Just watched that beanpole Crouch out jump the Chelsea defence to set up a goal for Stoke. Maybe we could play Pants as a striker! :emoticon-0105-wink:

    With Burnley and Bournemouth both easily leading at the moment, they have crept above us in the table - we really do need 3 points tomorrow. I just can't see it happening though. :(

    Swansea now trailing 0-3 - I wonder if their midfielder Sigurdsson could be now be persuaded away by the Pozzos. He'd be a more than useful acquisition for us.

    Am I right in thinking that the 25 man squad rule is suspended until the January transfer window closes? If that is the case we could get some loan replacements in for the Stoke game, at least. Knowing the Pozzos, they probably got the paperwork in to the FA a couple of days ago so we could have some new players eligible for tonight. Expect to see the German national team (sans the English based contingent) playing for us during the Bundesliga winter break.

    if not things look bleak.

    I think I'm right in saying that our 25 man squad actually only has 22 in it, so surely there is scope to sign players anyway?

    Possibly - but it wouldn't stop us from signing home grown players such as Lansbury. In fact we'll need to if Watson leaves as has been mooted. There's also the issue of Pereyra - if he's out for the rest of the season, can't he simply be dropped off the list?

    I'd play Harry the H as lone striker and pull deeney back into midfield to provide the graft. With all our injuries anythings possible!

    Isn't Harry the H out on a ban for 'simulation'? Ridiculous. I thought there was contact between him and Zaha and if there's contact, Harry "had every right to go down." ;)
