Shameful season and missmaneagement by all concerned !
Fuk all % shown today by the I'm alright jack minted ****houses we mostly have at our once fine club !
Championship is a much tougher league to get settled in the top half after our visit to the prem where the top places are sewn up by the big money fa darlings. we will be lucky to get close to them again for a very very long time imo !

 

Our goal difference is better than Hull's.

Next game - we win, Hull draw and we're back above them. Not saying it will happen like that, but it's still that close.

...and I'm not gloating either because to be fair none of us have anything to gloat about.

I was just wondering where Paul Clement's mystique eminates from?
Granted he has some huge clubs on his CV (always as coach or assistant manager) including; Chelsea, PSG, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, but with one very significant common denominator .... Carlo Ancelotti.
His other appointments in Britain have been more modest (no slight intended) and without any sign of success, yet whenever a new club appoints him he seems to arrive with rose petals scattered in his path. He acts and dresses with one aim - to impress and he certainly talks the talk.

You might guess that I'm not his greatest fan, but he does come over as a pretentious stuffed shirt.

You guessed it. I think Swansea made the same mistake by appointing him as we did with Phelan and Boro did with Agnew - there are managers and there are assistant managers and a lot of assistants aren't capable of taking the step up.

 

As long as the possibility is there then we are still in there with a chance. OK Hull have a slight edge today but that could all change on a weekly basis and i think that will be the case as we both have some tough games coming up and should we put in a great performance against a big club which we all know we seem to do better against than the teams around us......We are not relegated yet and with a bit of luck we wont be.......

 

This is the part of the season when managers earn their corn. Like you say there's nothing between the two clubs so it comes down to attitude, spirit and belief and a good manager can give his team enough mental hardness to get over the line.

 

We are sunk take it from me, Clement is a fraud, he looks the part, but his strategy and tactics are woeful, he is clutching at straws every game now, doesn't have a clue, I can sure see why the Rams kicked him out.

Another Huw Jenkins screw up, that will cost us dearly.

And if the above isn't enough to make you think, how about this fact, are you ready for this?

Not one of our players have a clause in their contract for a drop in wages when we go down!!..Nice one Jinx.......

Well we played another Liverpool team recently and turned out pretty good . And Palace are taking apart big teams these days with their " Confidence ', all we need to do is find ours after injury issues .
