I'll get back to you on that - I obviously just posted this straight from Twitter, but will try to find out where to copy it from
Frustrating when your computer decides to play up when you really need it. I didn't see any of it, and managed about 5 minutes of Jon Marks. Really will have to get and give the computer a talking to and a good clean up.
Fair result ... my stepson a Liverpool supporter watched me and he thought Liverpool were awful defensively...which of course they were.... We are now third !!!!!
Very encouraging performance generally. Ok had the usual injuries and couple of slack moments at the back which Liverpool took advantage off but thought we looked to attack with pace and the midfield pushed forward which was unheard of last season Always good to get a late goal which think we deserved. New players came on and put themselves about very willing to put in a shift. Maybe Chelsea regret selling Chalobah already!
On the beach in Spain listening to 3CR. A great ending as I thought we weren't going to get anything. Will be at the Vic for Brighton in a fortnight. COYH!
Apparently Redknapp and Carragher were not happy afterwards - on screen row?! Clearly frustrated their team didn't win. Cannot see much of an offside for Britos goal.
Besides it was tipped onto bar and came back to Britos. How we scored from such a poorly delivered corner I don't know. We had lots of energy in the midfield. Still all running flat out at the end. Felt that Pereyra going off affected the balance down that side and where Holobas had his man under control, after that he was being put under much more pressure and it led to Liverpool getting more into the game and creating openings.
Lots claiming that he was in front of the last outfield defender - my thoughts at the time were that he was behind Richarlison when he shot/crossed anyway. As this appears to show...
Maybe Hughes had a knock after doing this! http://www.skysports.com/watch/vide...ue/10984178/footgolf-with-chalobah-and-hughes
Britos goal was never offside. Yes, he was in an offside position when the ball was played in but the ball was played backwards into the Liverpool defender who then deflected it forwards to Mingnolet and the rest is history. No player can be offside if the ball is played backwards. Klopp needs to read up on the offside rule. Great piece of officiating by the linesman.
Having watched MOD, late night here, I was pleased with the new way we played, and was quite hopeful for the season. It is interesting to read how different reporters see a game with some rating a player highly, while others think he was invisible.
The most notable thing for me was in the match stats - it probably has happened, but I can't remember when we last played a match without receiving one yellow card. Re your point about reporters - after the Brighton v Man City match, I watched BTSport's talk show on the day's games - Steven McMenaman nearly made me punch my TV. He ranted on about how Liverpool failed after scoring their third, claiming that they should have been 6-2 up before we scored our equaliser. Have no idea which game he had been watching...
Complete BS...... Why they employ these brainless mouth's is beyond me..... two of them had a big argument after the game on sky.... embarrassing... of course maybe the research about heading the ball and brain damage has a grain of truth...
