Watford v Hull The facts: Watford are 9th in the table Hull 18th. Hull have lost the last 5 league games but won two in the Cup. Watford have won two, drawn two and lost one in the last 5 in the league Hull have scored 8 and let in 22, with -14 goal difference. Watford have a ´lucky´ 13 let in and scored a piece, resulting in 0 G.D. The muddled truth: Lettergate is gentle simmering at the Vic maybe a points deduction is on it´s way. Ighalo hasn´t played well recently and isn´t hitting the onion bag. Success is out for a while too. Janmaat is set to return. WM´s English is now fluentish. The last 4 performances from WM´s men have been below par. Hull are already in trouble this season and are in the drop zone. Hull are back in business after a Cup win in their last game. Hull´s formation is unsure. Dear footballing Gods : A win, a good performance, an Ighalo double and a clean sheet would be more than welcome. Amen. ¡¡Where ever you are enjoy the game !! http://www.ambernectar.org/blog/2016/10/famous-five-the-watford-recruits-of-the-80s/? An interesting piece about five ex-Hornets who all played for Hull. It answers one question for me - never did know why we sold Steve Terry...
I like the Terry/Jobson comparison of roles - very similar to how McClelland described his partnership with Terry. All solid boys. I mean that in the nice way. - I was an ardent fan of all three.
Back from the dead... Very Halloween... https://www.clubcall.com/watford/watfords-defensive-options-boosted-1829457.html
It's strange that they say 'defensive options' when his strength is his attacking ability - if anything, defending is his weakness.
See from seating plan it is sold out again. Not sure that I could make it anyway. Need more seating I believe. To think that the SEJ was only built when it was shown that we could get a regular attendance of 15,000.
Hull striker Adama Diomande has been banned for three matches after appearing to strike Bristol City's Marlon Pack in Tuesday's EFL Cup game. Hull are also without fellow forward Dieumerci Mbokani until mid-November with a hamstring problem with Abel Hernandez and Will Keane expected to share the attacking duties in the pair's absence.
