    Watford v Burnley.

Sean Dyche, a.k.a. "the ginger Mourinho," returns to the Vic. His Burnley team are 10th in the table - 3 places and 2 points above Watford. What could be telling though, is Watford´s home advantage as Burnely have only collected only 1 point from a possible 30 on the road. If Watford win, they will leapfrog Burnely.

However, as Watford fans know, results away from home can spring surprises. After being bossed in the cup away to Millwall, Mazzarri´s men beat the Gunners away, giving the Hornet´s their first win since 10th December and stopping their worrying slide down the table.

On paper this game is winnable, nevertheless, we all know it won´t be easy against a well organised Burnley side. A win would ease the recent pressure on Walter and push the Hornet´s further away from the relegation places giving the fans back-to-back wins in the league in the process.

Team news to follow, but I believe that the injury crisis may be getting better. This was shown by the return of Behrami, Cathcart and Janmaat to the starting eleven, Niang making his debut and even Success coming off the bench at Arsenal. Zarate could also be in line to make his first appearance but I guess he will be on the bench, if he isn´t still suspended.

ENJOY THE GAME - <cheers> - COMMENTS WELCOME.

Thanks Mex. Looks as we will be alternating now!

Stephen Defour is apparently out of Burnley's squad for the game on Saturday because of a hamstring injury.

Coming off a great win with a home game against a side that haven't won all season on their travels with an ex manager in charge and ex Hatter up front....

You can see it being 0-0!

But going to predict 2-1...Deeney and Success.

All our spirits have been raised by Tuesday's performance. I am not going to say anymore.

What are you reckoning for this one, though, Brian? Not that I'm trying to get a steer for the predictions... <whistle>

Do you think you'll bring bad luck? I don't believe in anything like 'luck' or whatever, but I do seem to have control via what I say. No more than your average demigod, but an example is Tuesday:
"Oh, dear god, no, not Kaboul. Bloody hell he looks like he could be... He better run over that ball or..."

Are you only a demigod, Andy? I'm going to have to dismantle the shrine I have to you if that is the case, unless you achieve what you did on Tuesday, of course.

Note to all. This is NOT an invitation to open a thread on religion. We can't afford to lose any more people on this site.

We had a busy day tue so i did not see the result till about 7 o 'clock here (12 your time) i told the wife that i would be ok with 2-0 or 3-1 would be ok (im no fun to be near if we lose for about 1 hour) Sat will depend on the !st goal .if we put one in the 1st 20 min then 3-1 (H would like this ) or 4 nil . If they they get the 1st goal then 1-0 or 1-1 if i was a betting man (which i am , would have put 5 on us at 14/1 tue) then poss 0-0

I'm not a betting man, Brian, but what was 14/1? A Watford win? <yikes>

Well... I try to reman modest, you know, but it is tricky. Even for a semi-deity. ;)
BTW, don't dismantle it yet, I'm doing a lot of CPD at the moment and have high hopes... :D

I agree about timing for the first goal. Critical.

I suppose, but still, that seems incredibly long. I suppose they hadn't factored in the change in formation which altered the real odds immensely.
