That's a bit negative, don't you think ? Would you like to tell him that ? Or would you like to be told that if you were in his position ? Or perhaps I've misread it. What you mean is you are going to stop following the 'Orns before he returns from this dispiriting injury ? Well, that would give us all a break.
Whilst naturally the player and everyinr round him SH might well be right - another year out and he will lose more chances to impress whilst we progress. Hopefully Tommie can come back and make a good go of his career as the talent is certainly there. Shame as he would have been a HG player able to fill a number of positions.
I had quite a chat with Tommie several seasons ago at one of the WFC curry nights, nice lad. None of the other players at that time are still at the club apart from Deeney, It is the nature of the job. The pressure of staying in the EPL only makes owners more selective with less sentiment. You only have to look at Chelsea to see how perfectly good youngsters are unable to break into the first team and hold down a regular space. I'm sure Tommie will continue to have a career in football, I just don't see it at Watford. I'm sure I'll be reminded of my prediction if I'm wrong.
Had a good read from Oliver Phillips .I grow up with the wobbley plus the Echo so i miss him ,He is a very wise man

http://www.hertfordshiremercury.co....sday-morning/story-30490043-detail/story.html Can anyone explain this nonsense - Cup draw taking place at 4:25am on Thursday? I can only assume it's for the benefit of canary dave - he'll surely be the only one up at that time...
Final score too - and a 'genuine' hat trick for Folivi. Something tells me he'll be getting a few stints in the first team squad this season.
Apparently it was against pretty much the Hull's Under 18 side as the U23s are in the squad for the League Cup... Nice to get such a comfortable win though and will the young guys confidence to hopefully fill in if they are needed in the first team!
http://www.skysports.com/football/n...ng-paul-pogba-raheem-sterling-hal-robson-kanu Sky's goal of the week voting. More out of duty than thinking it was the best, I voted for Capoue... The one I thought would be the winner (Mooy against Newcastle) is even trailing his - shows what I know.
http://www.hertfordshiremercury.co....p-qualifiers/story-30491356-detail/story.html Prodl and Bachmann named in Austria's world cup squad. You have to wonder how a third choice keeper manages that...
He is a 3rd choice keeper for a EPL side Austria dont have many keepers and he will only be back up as he has never played for the 1st team just U21 and he is young for a keeper at 23
