And we certainly now need something out of tomorrow night, preferably three points - otherwise we could still be staring down the barrel of relegation. Hull, Swansea and Palace are all threats.
Only six ahead of Hull, and two ahead of Palace - either of whom could overtake us. Palace still have to play Hull, then away to the two Manchester teams - even if they only beat Hull, they could leapfrog us. Hull would then have to beat Sunderland and Spurs, both at home - six points out of that is a big ask though. Swansea have Sunderland away and Everton/West Brom at home - play like they did today and they could easily take all nine points. The way we have been playing recently, i can't see us getting anything out of our last five games...
We only need to worry about Swansea...if they drop anymore points we are safe!! If we get anymore points we are safe (assumes GD remains in our favour)!!! We have two additional games to play than them as well...I hope we can get one point from 5 games.
Yes - Swansea will get a few points from their last 3 games but enough to catch us? Walter has said we aren't safe so hopefully the players will play like we need a point.
Yes, but - those five games are Liverpool, Everton, Leicester, Chelsea and Man City. With the way we are playing, it's difficult to see where that point will come from. I'll be happy to eat my words, but still think we'll have to rely on Swansea dropping a point - and there's no guarantee that will happen.
Those talking about relegation - you're all bonkers! You suddenly expect teams that have managed less than a point a game for 34 games to produce champions football to gain 100% points whilst a team that has not set foot near the relegation zone and is averaging over 1 point a game you expect to get no points at all! Besides, we are not playing kak, we are inconsistent though. The tippy tappy football at Hull was all well and good. What was wrong though was the response when Hull scored, or more correctly, the lack of a response. Whether it is tomorrow or another game I see no reason for us not to score another 5 points minimum. Furthermore I doubt very much if 37 or 38 points will be the most required by Hull or Swansea to stay up. One of them will go and I expect it will be Swansea now. Nobody else will get sucked in.
Agree Chris....... we are secure now for the next season.... and a few more points would be handy... last games are VERY difficult and if we got three points from them would be good. BUT three points is just one win .. and we could do that
Some good points from Chris Plus Hull have to play Palace and Spurs and they need 7 points to get in front of us and Palace have to play City and United .The Swans need 100% . So to sum up yes its poss but the bookies was giving 500/1 for us to go down .But i still think we will end up 15th
In terms of relegation, we are all but mathematically safe... although I can't see us getting another point. Crazy that if we won last night, we could have gone 9th, but we are still but only 2 points ahead of 16th - which is where I think we will actually end up now! Outside of the top 7, it is a pretty poor league - but extremely competitive
Judging from the time of Lewis' equaliser, this must surely be the longest half of football ever played...
Finished 3-2 with another goal from Lewis and one from Folivi - after a considerably shorter 45 minute second half.

I still fear the drop as I don´t think we can get any more points. So, looking at other results hoping they drop points. Your reasoning help aid my fear mind.
