    I asked my Pompey supporting mate (yes I do have one, a mate that is) what was happening with this Disney guy and the selling of the club. He said " It is going ahead and they are going through the motions" to which I said "It is strange but I always think of motions when I think of Pompey". I now no longer have a Pompey supporting mate.

    The Tory party are pragmatic to the extreme, the Labour party are idealistic to the extreme.... I wish there was some decent third choice which is less extreme on either ends of the spectrum.

    Yeah, I wish Mr Eisner would hurry up and take us over. We need to increase the capacity of Fratton Park like yesterday.

    Takeover complete. Putting the usual banter to one side, I do hope they have a good ride and join us in the Premier League. What's the point in having a rival if you can't play them. This surrogate animosity toward Scumhampton and the North London yobs just doesn't cut it for me.
