Young Tigers host Sheffield United straight after first-team encounter on Saturday…

Supporters of all ages are invited to watch the Tigers’ Development Squad in action completely free of charge when Jon Beale’s side host Sheffield United at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday, immediately after the first-team’s Premier League fixture against AFC Bournemouth.

The Professional Development League North fixture will kick-off at 5.15pm, around 15-20 minutes after the completion of the first-team fixture, with admission to the KCOM for the Under-23 match free for all fans.

Any supporters who are not attending the first-team fixture against Sheffield United but wish to watch the Development Squad match will be able to enter the stadium via Gate 23 in the north west corner, which will open at approximately 5pm.

Speaking ahead of Saturday Development Squad fixture against the Blades, Academy Manager Jon Beale said: “It’s great for our Academy players to experience playing at the KCOM Stadium, and it’s one the players can only benefit from.

“With Saturday’s game taking place immediately after the first-team fixture, it gives the lads the chance to potentially play in front of much larger crowd to what they’re used to at North Ferriby United.

“We want the lads to enjoy the whole experience, so to have plenty of supporters in the stands cheering them on as they look to maintain their place at the top of the Professional Development League North table with another positive result would be fantastic.

“Hopefully fans will stay in their seats after watching the first team support the Development Squad. It’s free admission for all fans, so hopefully everyone will take full advantage of that and stay to support what are potentially the next generation of Hull City players.”
