Didn't watch GoT until after season 3 as I'd read the books published.

Enjoyed last season as I didn't know what was going to happen.

Can't wait to see the new season at the end of June.

It's a series made on the books. It was always ending after 8 seasons. Just finished season 6 this summer.

The last two seasons will be awesome. It's what it's been building towards.

I love being down the club and not having a clue what they are talking about. Can get back to talking about sport.

    Just watched the new episode.

I have never wanted to kill anyone as much as I want to kill Negan. My stomach is literally churning with hate.

Lol....No...but I do think some series go on too long. If GoT finishes in a season or two, as predicted, that would make it perfect. Breaking Bad and Dexter were great because the story ended....if you get what I mean. Unfortunately, Firefly never got the chance - possibly the worst decision ever by studio executives.

Hopefully when GoT finishes they'll do a prequel with the Stark/Baratheon v Targareyns storyline so we can see what happened before ASOIAF.

Must admit that when I saw the title, I (honestly) thought that the thread was about Huw Jenkins' Chairmanship of Swansea City ...... :bandit:

I totally agree, some series certainly tend to go on a little to long, I do find myself getting bored with them.

I know what you mean Kiff i am normally the same but this is so well made with fantastic effects that i found it easy once i got my mind set that i loved watching the group tackle the zombies. When they finally got to the prison was the time i watched everything instead of covering my eyes at certain bits....I am hooked but i wont let my grand kids watch it until they are much older,,,well the young ones anyway....

I have not seen GOT yet but i will, I like to watch things like WD & GOT through catchup when i can watch a whole bunch of episodes one after another with no adverts...As for Westworld then i have watched the first two episodes and to be honest im not impressed and when i saw Sir Anthony in it was the main reason i watched it......The original i enjoyed but im struggling with this...

I did the same with GoT Dai. You may as well wait until the final season is done. But be careful with the grandkids - lots of nasty bits as well as ts and bs.

Season 7 is 7 episodes, Season 8 is 4 episodes.

Saving the budget for the epic battles/cgi on the horizon.
