World Cup Euro Qual - Group D
    Date - Sunday 9th October
    Kick off - 5:00pm
    Venue - Cardiff City Stadium

Following Thursday night's creditable 2-2 draw away to second seeds Austria, Chris Coleman's table topping Wales host Georgia at the Cardiff City Stadium on Sunday evening.

Wales will be without Aaron Ramsey and also possibly Joe Allen who limped off in Vienna after again playing a starring role.

Georgia have lost both qualifying matches played to date losing 1-2 at home to Austria and losing 0-1 away to the Republic of Ireland last Thursday.

Wales and Georgia have met on three previous occasions, with the Georgians winning on every occasion.

The last time the two sides met was in 2008, when Georgia ran out 2-1 winners in a friendly played at the Liberty Stadium.

Jason Koumas had given Wales the lead when his long-range drive was fumbled by Georgia goalkeeper Giorgi Loria.

But Georgia equalised on 66 minutes when Rati Aleksidze's through ball let Levan Kenia in to slide the ball home.

A blunder deep in injury time allowed Beka Gotsiridze to grab a last-gasp win for Georgia when the home defence failed to deal with a bouncing ball, allowing Gotsiridze to dash in and head past Boaz Myhill.

Turning to Sunday evening's match, with home advantage and the confidence gained on the back of an impressive Summer Euro campaign, I think that Wales will run out 2-0 winners.

2-0 Wales. Anything but a win and we'll be in trouble. This group will be very tight by the looks of things.

Joe Allen is injured so that is a big blow for us but we should win on own turf in front of our fans. We must not be complacent because Georgia have a good record against us and we must be at our best or we could be punished........2-1 home win...

I've just watched the Euro Quarter Final again - it still gives me goosebumps. Just simply the best night ever for us Welsh. Unbelievable atmosphere, awesome goals, just magical really. Seems a world away from the Premier League drudgery at the moment.
We need to win this match - I don't care if it's by a single goal, but hope for more. As long as the players max out we will win it.
    COME ON WALES

We'll win this due to us playing in red.
Including the Euros, we've played in the black kit 3 times. In those 3 times we lost to England and Portugal and drawn with Austria.
When we've worn red, we've won against Slovakia, Russia, Belgium and Moldova, scoring 12 goals in those 4 games - conceding only 2.

Wales looking poor and need to get back into this game and start hanging on to the ball for a while, being outplayed.

Georgia having lots of the game now, but not threatening anything really.

We seem to have weathered the slight gust that Georgia were creating in the last 5 mins.

I've been impressed with Georgia in the way they've moved the ball around and they could give other teams some trouble in this group imo. Very stylish to watch. Wales have defended well though and limited their chances.

If this game shows us anything it's how we suffer when Allen and Ramsey are out.

I'm certainly not going anywhere near the place Neil Taylor has his hair done.

    Booooo
That came from Neil Taylor's poxy ball down the other end of the field, and then his poxy marking from their attack.

That started with Neil Taylor giving the ball away and ended with neil taylor sticking his hand up and not tracking the goal scorer.
