And also possibly without; Couthino, Matip

Squad is paper thin. It's poor management

 

whilst the squad strength always looked thin i think anyone would struggle if 5 of your 1st choice 11 were missing.

Strangely i think we will be fine on Saturday and will win possibly comfortably.

We've been left exposed. 10 outfield first team players plus 5 to replace those injured.....is 15. The rest of the squad is made up of kids (and Sturridge) We're 4 or 5 players short from a squad perspective imo. That's poor planning.

 

When you see articles like this quoting Jamie Carragher you wonder just what the point is, but Leicester punched above their weight last season and got away with it. The problem is a lot of Liverpool fans are fed up with the long wait and that's why managers don't last, so the vicious circle begins again.

After Klopp's press conference we know who is fit and who is not. We have three ex-Liverpool players playing for Stoke, they are going to be up for this game.

 

I do think this game will be telling for the rest of the season and how we will finish. If the players are down about the sh!T Bournemouth result and plod around then it's gonna be like that for the rest of the season. If we actually come out with urgency and press and grind out a result then we have a chance.

Really comes down to how the players have taken that result midweek.

 

Stoke have not won 5 out of last 6 games. Time to change that against Liverpool!!

If matip and coutinho are not there i would be very very very dissappointed in their commitment to the cause.

 

Stoke away is a hideous fixture, but at least you've got the advantage of the weather being nice tomorrow. That **** hole ground is horrendous in the winter. I ****ing hate Stoke, the inbred Pikeys are a horrible crowd

 

Stoke have been real bad this season tbh. They signed Bony and everyone thought with the players around him they would really kick on. Decent manager. actually bought the right players to improve the club (Ramadan, Allen, Indi) but they have stalled really. I mean for Hughes to have to call back Crouch and Walters because Bony clearly doesn't fancy it is terrible for the club.

It'll be a tough game but if you score early or keep them quiet the fans soon lose interest and with Stoke have nothing to play for they would soon fade. Early goal for Stoke means we will lose.

 

Stoke don't play long ball anymore. Xherdan Shaqiri is fit for the first time since January.

 

Stoke have lost three in a row. Thats a dreadful sign for ourselves
