yes but equally he admits that he actively tried to get out of chelsea and its contes will kept him there... AND last year the **** sulked mourinho out of a job (rightly so too)

You WOULD say buying back is the right thing wouldn't you :) <laugh>

The real story is mourinho swept in on a high horse, cast his eye about and threw out de bryune and lukaku and mata etc and kept a really small squad which he got some quick success with but it all goes tits up and now cheslea are back top of league having bought luiz back, now its supposedly Lukaku... luckily they appointed a real manager.

what will utd do in 18months time? who have utd left to buy back for the next guy?

Saved a few year wages <laugh> wow thats a good one. saved the wages then throw 40mil net down the pan in transfer fee <laugh>

Not Chelsea if they keep Costa.
Tottenham won't be interested, maybe Arsenal.
Maybe even someone like Dortmund if they lose Abamayang.

So the 3rd goal in a 3-0 win would mean something then?

I guess you would rather they kept him in the reserves or on the bench for a few years wasting his time and talent?
When clubs have young talent coming through who are not quite good enough to push the first team players out what should they do with them, keep them for years letting them stagnate or let them go to play first team football and progress.

Mourinho swept in, trimmed his squad to what he wanted and won the league.
He then obviously realised his dream job was soon to be vacant and took steps to make sure he was available for it.
Yes, Chelsea bought Luiz back (and made £20m on the deal), they also bought Kante who has made a bit more of a difference.

If he went to Chelsea it would be as Costas replacement.

    lol... keep trying.

they could simply have followed their same tried and trusted loan him out model. Are you telling me no prem club would touch him? he went to everton and played and scored goals. he could have gone elsewhere but the reality is mr mourinho shovelled the guy out the door cos he had ego and mr mourinho doesn't like anyone having ego but him. thats why costa hated him.

you just watch pogba will be next on the list... and theres a reaosn why mr ego zlatan isn't yet signed up either :)

If Utd follow the same pattern of "trimming" their squad you'll lose about oh 3 players who are half decent spend 300mil on more players but only play maybe 14 players he trusts and then implode under the games in the europa you'll have and end up 6th again..

cos its an ideal fit to have a manager "take steps" to put his club in 10th to get to his dream job.

If an LFC fan said thats what klopp did you'd laugh them out of town and diego knows it.

Exactly. These managers have far too much professional pride to be deliberately dropping their team down to a relegation dog fight. Unbelievable nonsense.

indeed. we all know the truth that several of his "trusted cadre" downed tools and got rid of him.

Matic, fabregas, costa, hazard, azpi, courtois... thats quite a list and bar fabregas suddenly they all start to play again...... oh but of curse its all down to kante. the guy thats single handedly won 2 titles in a row now with no help from any other player.

Yeah right, Jose pissed off the players so he could get his severance pay. The players "professional pride" put them down into 10th :emoticon-0100-smile

Nope, it's quite obviously not all down to Kante, just like it's not all down to Luiz. It's down to players with no pride in their own performance giving a manager what he want's. Jose played them like an old violin <ok>

ahem.. just goes to show what trusting a manager can do :) got them back to 7th after it which if a new man came in would be called miraculous.

Of course mourinho could not affect his cadre like that. his side stubbornly stuck in 15th/16th hovering above relegation until their gloriou leader was disposed of. the caretaker only got them to 10th.

Obviously klopp is a genius and dortmund are just a bit better run.

Pity Utd have that wallace and gromit guy in charge..... odds are mourinho doesn't see out 2017 in charge of utd at this point.

his main hope is winning europa but if he does and ends up going out in group stage of cl and is 10th in prem next year 0.5billion in to the job.. well... arsenal tv won't be the only bunch of plastics moaning.

    :)

After he announced he was leaving for "a rest".
Not many Dortmund players queueing up to sign for him are there?

Yep, we really should be much higher in the league this season given the opposition. Maybe next season when it's "Joses team" <ok>

not happening is it... I eman if i were cruel i'd point out a few things like rojo favored by mourinho when is is just baout the worst player in ten years to play for utd, how jones and smalling have regresed and regresed (but were never good enough) how you've not no RB at all but pretend a failed RW whos 31 is one.

How you've ended up somehow with a 60mil kid on the left wing when he was a decent young striker and are systematically pushing him out the door... or a fat 300k per week disaster you can't get shut of as captain. Or your only decent CM is 42 or something by now...

But i won't you are well aware of how bad it really is. not to worry though jessie is siging a new deal and that will really help you out.
