7 years ago, this sort of attack wasn't happening.

Cheap shot by whatever newspaper it is.

20:20 hindsight is a blessed gift. It sees all.

Absolutely ****y article. It's in no way Boris' fault. He was a pretty incredible mayor of London.

If the railings had been there they'd have driven a hundred yards down and done it there.

    Horrible political point scoring.

Well I just think it was sad they were taken down. Things of safety should never be removed for aesthetic reasons. There is no defence imo. Whether there's a terrorist mowing people down, an accident like the Glasgow bin lorry crash or somebody stepping off the pavement at busy times and getting clipped, they shouldn't have been removed for aesthetic reasons. Hate it when Councils do **** like this.

Not sure fella. A rag is a rag to me. They've all got it in for the Tories at the moment anyway so take your pick.

I'd question if it was down to Boris, but that's irrelevant to the point I was making which is why I've not mentioned his name and referenced councils. But suggesting barriers weren't actually there is a bit wacky crack pot conspiracy **** imo.
