Hardly an equal performance, also had Gayle been playing the whole match instead of Mitrovic I am certain that we would have won as he would not have missed the chances Mitrovic did, final thought you only scored because of two big cockups, nothing equal about it.

Personally I thought we edged it and probably should have won that game. The early lapses were very costly.

We were a bit more attacking too.

Good result in context, I think we have to be happy with another game ticked off and we still have a 5 point gap to 3rd. Have to say I think the play offs are going to be fiercely competitive this year regardless where we end up.

 

Don't know if you were there BK but the stats as usual don't tell the real story. We could have been 3 up at half time! I think a draw was a fair result as you battered us in the last 20 mins. 2 corners????? We had three on the trot??

Newcastle dominated the game and should have won convincingly if not for kindergarten defending and the most clownish goalkeeper error Ive seen in a long while.

The marking for Huddersfields winner was baffling. Centre half standing BEHIND the bloke who scored almost on the line !
Like Brighton and Reading, they're all getting the breaks going their way.
The dive attempt by a Brighton player to be given YET ANOTHER convenient penalty was quite insulting to the refs for thinking they are that dumb - but they ARE giving them pens suspiciously often

 

I was there mate and I know what I saw. As I said previously the stats don't always tell the whole story! You dominated the last 20 minutes but apart from that it was quite an even game. Always liked Newcastle and got on well with the supporters, hope you get back to where you belong.

Fair enough! I was watching Norwich v Newcastle on Tuesday night 7:45 kickoff from my normal seat in Carrow Road. I'm not deluded either, I don't wear Green and Yellow glasses. Newcastle were in the ascendancy in the last 20 minutes, no dispute about that, but the game is 90 minutes long. We scored 2 you scored 2, that's the stat that counts. Sky don't acknowledge "little Norwich" and their coverage of highlights prove that, BUT there was two teams in that game!
