Only side unbeaten at home in the league vs the side that doesn't do the same result twice.

We were apparently very good vs Reading, so we'll be toilet this.

    2-0 Villa.

We will be resurgent, and will cause a mighty upset...I can see us sneaking this one 1-0 with a late smash n grab

Take the lead and be pegged back, much like Preston and Reading games... except this time we'll snatch a late 93rd minute winner.

Bruce could be in serious danger of losing his job if he doesn't pick up a win or two soon, they've been dire since Christmas

I still have nightmares over our FA Cup Semi Final defeat to Man City at Villa Park back in 1981! Poor Kevin Beattie broke his arm during that game and never played for Town again! Hard to imagine now that we should have won the treble that year - it was only the injuries to key players that denied us.

    A "squad" of,what 15 players(?),turning out for 68 games,we'll never see the like again.
The one that still really ranckles with me is the 1975 semi replay against West Ham,where we were cheated out of the tie by Clive "the cnut" Thomas!

Yeah I remember it Al that Cnut Thomas cost us that game. One of my earliest football memories was watching Woodsy score a screamer against Leeds in the epic 5th Round replay. They were very happy days.

Ah my oh my, how we cheered, sang and danced in those happy days. Avidly buying news print to read match reports that spouted Ipswich win, again, Win WIN!

I remember in the early 70s standing outside EADT offices when Town were playing away legs in EUFA Cup as the journalists phoning in their report was the quickest way to get the result.

Ha ha! but I still prefer a good old newspaper read- very weary & wary of the 24/7 constant news buzz, info-overload. Our brains are not designed for such stuff!

The useless EADT is so far up ME and MM's arses its unreal! Any decent paper would be campaigning against these two clowns and calling them to account. BBC Suffolk with the useless Brenna Woolley are guilty of the same thing! Why are they giving these idiots such an easy time???

TWTD aren't much better either. Nobody likes to ask the difficult questions.

I'll stick with my 1-0 win prediction with McG getting the winner
