Rumours circulating around twitter and the internet show Manchester United fans have developed a taste for trying to develop trouble, not only for their own fans, but now fans of other clubs. This image from Red Issue shows how low some Manchester United fans have sunk to with their vitriolic hatred of Manchester City and the lengths that they will go to in inciting hooliganism even when their own club is not involved.

Targetting officially sanctioned tours on what will be a historic occasion in Manchester City's growth and development on the European stage of world football. Some so called Manchester United fans seem to have taken it upon themselves to instigate and taunt Napoli fans into violence against their near neighbours who are now challenging them in the Champions league.

Indications are that they are trying to locate any hooligan elements of Napoli's supporters in order that they can set up a pretend "meet" in order to ambush Manchester City fans around the stadium and within Manchester itself hoping that the real trouble comes on the return leg back in Napoli. Registering on Napoli fans forum sites with user names indicating they are Manchester City fans just to "Wind them up" and cause havoc. Unlike Redcafe whom, in the main, showed sympathy towards the Liverpool fans who were stabbed in Napoli last year these comments on RedIssue appear to be showing the uglier side of Manchester United and their followers.

It seems that this minority element still exists within Manchester United's loyal following of fans and they do not care who they target and how many innocent bystanders are caught up in mindless violence. Seemingly getting their kicks from believing that they have instigated trouble for the blue half of Manchester off the field rather than worrying about what is going on when on the field.

These tactics of inciting others to commit acts of violence coming so soon after the riots seen in London and other cities bear a striking resemblence and it will be interesting to see Greater Manchester Police's view on this as well as that of the club (Manchester United) itself.

I have added the post as i am sure it will be removed from the site where it was posted.

Who said they are ****ting themselves?
As i said the OP is a little tongue in cheek, i cannot read the replies that are not in English so cannot judge the feeling of their fans however the two posts above are not helpful and there are more.

Of course they aren't ****ting themselves. Everyone knows that City don't have enough fans that are that "committed" to indulge in a bit of hooliganism. :D

I hope they all get stabbed in the arse. I know a few lads round ours who have already booked up to go. As it happens they refer to us as the 'Munichs'

Wouldn't be too fussed it they got a bit of a slap.

Whats the problem? Looks like a few people having a laugh and some terrified City fans begging the police and the media to get involved to help them.

    Sad bastards.

I don't have a problem but having read a few of the signatures in that thread i think a few of them do

So you think your fans deliberately pretending to be City fans to incite violence is funny?

I do find it strange how few united fans have commented, maybe they see it the way i do.

FJH, this goes on all the time, something ManMecca are new too.
Dippers do it to UTD, UTD do it back.

Thats why few people have commented on this thread
