Hull Tigers Academy@Tigers_Academy 13h13 hours ago Well done to our U18s who rounded off their pre-season training camp in Portugal with a 5-2 win over Olhanense FC todaypic.twitter.com/88AuGHnA3L
It's not the first time, I'm not sure how often they've been, but we played in an U20 tournament in Portugal three years ago. Probably kept the youth team close in case we needed more players...
Nice story, Will Aimson ex academy player helped Adam Chicksen of Bradford who has swallowed his tongue.
The Tigers’ Under-23s kick-off their 2017/18 Professional Development League campaign with a trip to QPR on Monday afternoon. Jon Beale’s side has enjoyed a solid pre-season, which was rounded off with a 3-1 victory over Welsh side Aberystwyth Town last weekend. Monday’s game will be played at QPR’s Harlington Training Ground and will kick-off at 1pm. The Professional Development League is split into two regional divisions, North and South. Teams play opponents in their own division twice and the other division once, with the sides who finish first and second in each league meeting in the end-of-season play-offs to determine the overall national champions.
