Cheers Ron. In the trainers words he is "as fit as a flea although again we seem to have copped a poor draw". Will be trying and 14/1 is worth an each way off the same mark as last time. Morris takes over as Adam is away but he has ridden him very well in the past. Expecting a big run at a tasty price.
Good luck guys. Starboard to beat today but stranger things have happened and he may well be upto reversing the December form
Good luck with squire boys as always hope he comes back fit and well plus a bit of prize money would be nice
Anyone know much about Jamie snowdens horse tomorro in them 2.40 Second over hurdles last week and now chasing
WH going 10s. Who has the WH account? Noble Star and Rio's Cliffs look the ones to beat. So much depends on how he is ridden.
NOBLE STAR could make a total mockery of his mark. Never run a bend yet which is the only negative I can find about him.
Good luck with Squire Stick/Don. Hope he does you proud. I note he's up against a former Lincoln winner tomorrow, though seems to have a lost the plot and down 39lbs from his highest rating.
Yes in May 2015 then took him pointing. At the end of last season decided to send him back to a professional trainer.
Dutch Art Dealer 3.05 Kempton 3/1 Gone up six pounds for winning at Newcastle on his first start for this yard. He had to wait until he was inside the final furlong before he got a run and then he drew clear easily. This is a step up in grade but he looks like he should follow up. Best of luck with Squire lads.
Thanks all - i think hes a couple of pounds worse at Kempton than Chelmsford and stinker of a draw so think he'll struggle to win a competitive race but would have solid place chances so small stakes.
Good luck today Stick and Don, As you have already mentioned Stick the Fanshawe horse could be anything and take it in a canter but could also have been flattered at Newcastle, only the connections will know at this point whether the mark given is a generous or not. I think Don has it right in that at the price your lad is without doubt the each way bet of the race and if one or two others don't perform is not beyond snatching it if getting to front early enough in the straight and asking if the others can see it out as strongly. Starboard looks to travel well but not necessarily find but I feel has a race of this type in him, but I actually think Spencer's winner may come with Outer Space in the earlier race for Jamie Osbourne.
