My old mate Cliff, in his late seventies, sadly passed away on Tuesday after a long illness. In fact he last saw the Tigers at Wembley and never fully recovered. We had to,leave before the celebrations and he collapsed down Wembley Way on the way back to catch the special train. The only fans around were Bristol City and they were absolutely brilliant!! They helped him and we eventually made it back to Hull. He should never have gone but was determined as he said he'd never get another chance in his lifetime. He was in severe pain but when we arrived back in Hull he said "I was there"

This game is infectious and I'm sure others have similar stories of resiliance and determination. R.I.P Cliff.
