hi gasheads. i came across this earlier on our officials fans forum http://www.football-league.co.uk/staticFiles/ad/88/0,,10794~166061,00.pdf on average rovers travelling fans last season was 615 per game. on average citys travelling fans last season was 682 per game. that was a suprise to me, considering we had at the mem people who voted with their feet due to poor performances and that we were relegation contenders who ended up getting relegated from league 1 to league 2, having just 67 less fans on average its not a bad figure when you compare it to our local rivals who play in a more attractive league - the championship. also, in the football league (72 clubs), last season we had the 12th best away support as a percentage of our home support 10.9%. and 7th for league 1 alone. city had the 69th best or 4th worst with just 5%. worse in the championship http://www.football-league.co.uk/staticFiles/ef/88/0,,10794~166127,00.pdf what do you think about that?
True support by the Gas fans, end of. Thought i would get in before Wize tries to dispute and twist the figures. ;-)
Good to see and not that suprising, we`ve always had a decent away support whareas our neighbours despite their league standing struggle to find their way out of South Bristol. But then not many have cars and most coach companies are reluctant to send their vehicles to run down dodgy areas
South Bristol innit We may not take many but we get ourselves heard unlike your lot who sit their all miserable about watching rubbish
Get a coach load from sadly broke every game, they come the long way around to avoid the muller rd tip and surrounding stench....
Here they are, getting ready for the long journey to Ipswich, 65% of their fanbase is in this car please log in to view this image
