Unless Konsa is about to be sold, he is our only back-up at RB... <yikes>

He is more a wing back than a defensive right back.

Suggests Konsa will be occupying a central role in midfield now - Solly and Byrne to fight over right back/wing back. Good move, but still need the attacking mid as Don says.

We need a playmaker.... someone to do the role that Stephens did for us.

all of these players coming in for nothing. so blatantly obvious what roland has done. why cant he just invest half of the fee received to guarantee us a promotion. that "well known" coach did just that with just £1-£2m, he and driesen should find it simple.

Or make a commitment to let the manager use the money during the summer, which is a better time to spend. Instead he'll probably sell Aribo and Phillips, possibly Magennis, unless we get promoted this season.

Rumour Holmes could move in to a central role.

But they are not coming in for nothing. Forster-Caskey, Byrne, the lad from West Ham all cost a fee.

I'd be amazed if they cost even 10% of transfer revenue. Probably lowered the wage bill as well.

Interesting, the Daily Mail described Nathan Byrne as a 'tricky winger' ?

The last time he played in L1 2014-15 (for Swindon) he was a sensation.

Our squad at the end of the season when contracts up/loans finish:

    Phillips
    Mitov
    Solly
    Page
    Tex
    Paddy
    Pearce
    Lennon
    Aribo
    Forster caskey
    Holmes
    Kashi (doesn't really count)
    Konsa
    Ajose
    Novak
    Watt
    Magennis
    Ahearne Grant
    Hanlan

Plus sarr, Igor and ceballos to possibly come back.

    Scary.

Only Solly, Bauer and Tex fill me with any confidence at that level. I'm sure Holmes and Magennis can step up, and we have Watt who can do it at that level if his head is right.

Huge turnover of players for the fourth summer in a row pending.

Aribo and Magennis for summer sale, possibly Phillips Tex and Konsa, at a rough guess. We'll need young Naby at CB, the pthers won't come back.

We will have huge turnovers whilst RD remains.

The guy hasn't a clue. Did exact same thing with Liege.

Hi Katrien - hope you're well. I know you read this forum so I'd like to bring a player to your attention - Richie Towell.

Now, no one knew of him 18 months ago. But I took the liberty of signing him for my charlton athletic team on football manager, as Thomas Driesen informed me this was the correct way to go about scouting somebody.

I've attached a screen grab highlighting his first few years at charlton. I think you'll agree that he becomes pretty successful.

But please remember, nobody (and I mean nobody) knew who he was 18 months ago.

    Regards
    Malcolm.

I still use FM2012 because the Douche is not Charlton's owner..... I just couldn't work for him!

Anyone else think that our transfer business is done? Two permanent (and a couple of loans), did think Lewis Page looked decent before he hobbled off. My West Ham supporting friends rated him, played well during their European campaigns and cup matches.
