Watts an existing player and we're already paying his wages. Should not be considered an addition.

Update from Dr Kish on transfers, was listening to Darren Gough yesterday afternoon on Talksport and he is a season ticket holder at MKD, he said that Carruthers had a bit of skill about him BUT was always injured and when he wasn't injured he was only ever on the bench for MKD. We may have avoided another 'sicknote' with that boy .... and Sheff Utd gave him a three and a half year contract.... unbelievable <yikes>

Fair play to Lookman. Wish him all the best.

    Jim White tweeted the following:

Charlton keen to spend part of the Lookman £10m on a permanent signing followed up by two others.

Imagine that was from a text exchange he had with RD.

"Keen to spend" - not guaranteed. Reads as it will be loans too (after the one permanent).

If he isn't good enough for a despicably bad Rotherham team, I'm not sure signing him right off the bat is the best thing to do. Loan him and if he impresses, make it permanent.

Charlton "keen to spend" must mean "Robinson keen to spend".
"Roland keen to spend" doesn't quite have the same conviction.

But Colin assured us KR has 4m to spend. Then again he said we had made a 300k bid for reeves the day after MK said they had received no bids.

    It's official:

Whilst it's undisclosed, if Katrien has anything to do with this, it's going to be a packet of Space Raiders and a new house DJ.

Should be enough to convince Roland his experiment is working, we are all fools to doubt him.

Big thanks to Karel Fraeyre then for blooding 'Mola'!

I personally think very highly of him and that a move to a stable club will make him. He has masses of potential and has been a joy to watch; his movement on and off the ball has probably been the best I've seen in a Charlton shirt for over 10 years now

Charlton are a selling club, sadly. We always have been and it's an indictment of modern football. This was always going to happen and in a way at least we got a better deal by holding on until January; if the Palace bid was the reported £6m then we've added at least £4m to his value since, which has to be taken as a positive

(All of the above with the caveat of expected imminent investment in the squad!)

Happy for him that he has left the freak show. Coached by Koeman and training with Lukaku, Barkley and Coleman is probably better for his career than Fraeye, Foley and Crofts.

The only thing that bothers me about this is timing - I hate selling best players in Jan. Ultimately though - it's a good deal for play and club.

    Sorry, player and RD.

    Good luck to 'mola.
