You are probably right but it's fun to speculate. Certainly more fun than seeing certain fans slagging off the players that have just won us the league!!

Must be Chelsea, clearly going to drag it out like Zlatan did lol. If they had a sell on clause in the contract we could be looking at a new world record fee if the papers are too be believed

Must mean Costa is going if Lukaku comes in and we'll get most of the money back from selling Costa, assuming it's China.

But I don't think you can break the world record and not improve your team. Morata looks better player and better value for me.

Wonder if Conte wants Lukaku & Costa together? He's a bit overpriced and doesn't seem to do it in big games but every big striker these days is 60M+

I did read an article recently though that said Conte wants Morata but Chelsea want Lukaku? Hopefully that isn't true, we need to support Conte with the transfers so he can continue to make the squad his own.

Exactly. Morata seems the more obvious choice and even more so if Conte wants him.

We already have poor man's Romelu in Batters <laugh>

Don't need Romelu for over inflated price tag. We have consensus in this one atleast.

I think you guys would be better off keeping Costa.

    He's a quality striker.

Lukaku is a great athlete but his first touch is ****ing horrible. Over-priced me thinks.

I do too mate, in the long run.
He is PL proven, has a great strike rate, has (mostly) calmed down his more aggressive tendencies etc

Morata is unproven in the PL and plays, frankly for a team that will score 100 goals plus a season every season because the quality of their opposition (bar 3 or 4 clubs) is Sunday League standard.

And Lukaku, well, he looks like Drogba-Lite, and that will not necessarily suit this Chelsea team. Though I'd have him over Morata.

yes Bobby Lewandowski rumours on. Will be a great buy, but the price & his age may not be favorable.

Bayern have now poured cold water on this. They clearly don't want to sell and he has a long contract. Not going to happen.

I hope you guys dont get Alex Sandro - he's been phenomenal last Season.

Possibly the best LB in the World right now IMO.

BBC reports Monaco Bakoya kid is close.

Should be an upgrade over Cescy

Matic to United gathering pace. He certainly seemed to struggle a little for his role last season with Kante being the main enforcer and Matic not being enough of an attacking influence. Tricky one as will strengthen a rival but Conte must see Bakayoko as an upgrade in centre mid.

Matic isnt Mata. Matic will suit Jose system Perfectly. We should sell Matic abroad.

Ideally, but if you are willing to sell a (seemingly happy) player, you shouldn't force him abroad, uprooting his family etc unless he's happy to go abroad. These are still human beings. Matic may want to stay in England and United may be the only club prepared to pay what we want.

Sanchez situation is different because he wont sign a new contract and clearly wants out. .
