Jurgen Klopp is ready to swap Alberto Moreno for Napoli left-back Faouzi Ghoulam, according to the Daily Mail. Napoli lodged a £10.5m bid for Moreno on Thursday but the Reds flatly rejected it - despite the Spaniard falling behind James Milner in the Anfield pecking order. Klopp wants to at least recoup the £13m they paid Sevilla for him in 2014. But the Reds are keen on Algerian international Ghoulam to solve their full-back crisis. Napoli signed Ghoulam in 2014 when they beat Chelsea and Manchester City to his signature.
Now this would be almost unthinkable but with Klopp in charge we have a better chance than ever to sign a genuine world class striker. Please at the very least, submit the bid!!!
We are going to be stronger next season if we get all our targets. Also, Chelsea, Tottenham,Manchester City, Manchester united and Arsenal are all going to be stronger. Survival of the fittest.
Their CEO has genuinely stated that a real bid will be accepted and that figure is 63m http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...g-latest-dortmund-will-cost-63m-a7803126.html I'll be quite disappointed if we don't actually submit this bid, if we lose out fair enough but let's at least try to compete!
Chelsea have yet to strengthen and seem to be at a cross roads with there manager. Costa also looking to leave which means theres a 20 plus goal striker missing. Spurs have yet to buy and moving to a new stadium. Man City will probably win the league. Man u will strengthen. Arsenal seem to want to keep rather than improve.
I can only echo what others have said. At that price we'd be foolish not to make a bid for Aubameyang.
If we believe what the papers say (obviously this is just a bit of fun), we still have £100m to spend. Plus player sales of £60m. That's £63 for Dortmund for Aubameyang and say £67 to Southampton for VvD. Would leave us with £30m for a LB and CM. Or do we just ask Milner to do both jobs and save the loose change for next summer?
The bonus point is, Jurgen Klopp was the manager of Aubameyang before. We have the edge if we can match others bid. However, I am of the opinion that goal scoring is not our problem but keeping them out.
