27 Jul 2014 21:05:07 Now that they have returned from their Botswana tour, it's expected that Bristol City will seal a deal for Cardiff keeper Simon Moore
Would rather we get Fon Williams of Tranmere. Decent keeper at this league, he wants to leave Tranmere and it would actually be a permanent signing loans are ok but one injury at Cardiff and he'll be off back there.... Still though if we signed Moore i'd be happy! Just want another transfer now! We were spoilt those 2 weeks before Botswana.

Fontaine training with Bolton Fontaine is a free agent after leaving Bristol City earlier this summer following an eight-year spell at Ashton Gate. The left-sided centre back has a wealth of experience at Championship level and was a member of the side that just missed out on promotion to the Premier League in 2008 when they lost the Championship play-off final to Hull. The former Fulham man has made over 300 appearances in his career and came close to joining Southampton in the summer of 2011, but ended up staying at Bristol City. The 28-year-old has now linked up with Bolton for training so that Dougie Freedman can cast an eye over him at close quarters. If Fontaine impresses in training he could be offered a deal at the Reebok Stadium with Freedman keen to bolster his defensive options. http://www.football365.com/champion...y-defender-Liam-Fontaine-training-with-Bolton
29 Jul 2014 13:51:51 Bristol City joining the clubs looking at St Johnstone's Stevie May. Bid dependent on if Sam Baldock leaves Ashton Gate in the next week/10 days with Middlesborough, Brighton, Leeds and Derby all interested.
29 Jul 2014 17:42:44 Leyton Orient r looking at pulling off another two big signings in former arsenal youngster Jay Simpson and Marvin Elliott formerly of Bristol City
Joe Lewis has joined Blackpool on a season loan from Cardiff. Which affects us in 2 ways. Looks as though Elliott Parish won't be offered a deal there now and Simon Moore will probably be Cardiffs number 2. So looks like we're sticking with Fielding and having Richards as back up. Happy with this?
Two weeks ago they had only eight outfield players. They need two keepers otherwise an outfield player has to sub the keeper if injured.
Parish clearly isn't wanted by us. Fielding is ok, but if he gets injured, Richards does lack experience.- The Moore deal looks as though it wont happen now. Cant really see where we are going to get a No1 GK, so Fielding will start season and I see a No 2 keeper coming in as back up.
07 Aug 2014 08:52:50 Keiran Agard travelling to Bristol today for talks with Bristol City after RUFC and BCFC finally agreed a fee late last night. BCFC have also stated that Agard is not being brought in to replace Sam Baldock who is attracting a lot of admirers he is being brought in to play along side him.
Latest talk is that we are waiting for Rotherham to sign a striker before they let us talk to Agard... This could drag on until transfer deadline day.
