Why do you not believe it 999's? Didn't he spend last year on loan with Norwich, or was that the year before? Therefore, not considered a first team player for Spurs. An ex-Harry player so would make sense to me.
Why not? I think Simpson is the better of the two. And as Judo says, Naughton can play left back. Think that is where Leicester used him the season we won the Championship.
Beth, I would prefer if we gave Suk-Young the chance this season as 1st choice LB. Naughton would provide both competition and cover for both fullback positions, hopefully leaving Onouha to consentrate on becoming the beast of a centre back I know he can become.
I can't see him dropping back into the Championship Fin. Although saying that Spurs seem to be playing Danny Rose at left-back. It all depends on whether AVB prefers Essou-Ekotto as back-up which may mean Naughton can/will leave.
I know what you're saying 999's. If you were a player, would you rather be a Premier League reserve player or a Championship first choice player? I know what I'd want to be. First team football is a big draw for any footballer even if it means they drop down a league. They all want to prove themselves.
Players are generally played if they are on loan............the parent club want them to be playing. I didn't realise that he could play left back tbh.
Hadn't connected the two events before, but now it makes sense. SAF sold us Park in retribution for having had the audacity not to have played Macheda at every opportunity during his loan spell. We can return the compliment by loaning them Anton and then selling them Joey......
Real Madrid have made a world record bid of over £85m to Spurs for Gareth Bale, according to reports. Don't think my Spurs mates will be to happy about this
I have the feeling today that these two things will happen this transfer window: 1: Loic Remy will sign for Fulham (either on loan or permanent with a break clause if he is found guilty or charged) 2: We will sign Carlton Cole None of them fills me with joy. Hope my "sixth sense'" if way off target on this.
Charlie Austin is rumoured to be having talks at Loftus Rd as I type. French media are reporting that we have made enquiries to PSG about Momo Sissoko.
Spurs confirm Soldado agreement. Cracking signing! Could go some way to ease the pain of (possibly) losing Bale.
With Soldado joining Spurs, on a THURSDAY. Surely this means that Defoe will come to us?!!! It is Thursday after all
Shock transfer of the day - Doncaster have announced a deal for One Direction's Louis Tomlinson. Don't worry 1D fans (yes Flyer I'm looking at you ), he's not leaving the band. He's been given the squad number 28 and will reportedly play for the reserves at least once in the coming campaign.
F*** me that is a good piece of business by Charlton! A brace of strikers are confirmed arrivals at The Valley. Charlton bring in Wales international Simon Church on a two-year deal after he left Reading, while it's a season-long loan for Bolton's England Under-21 international Marvin Sordell. please log in to view this image Why does Bolton Sordell leave on a years loan? Didn't they just sign him a year ago?
