it wasnt enough that tight basterd Levy bid 22 million for Moutinhio and it was accepted but the demi god that is mouthinio wanted more cash...sorry but im backing Levy on this one..as for the last minute stuff..we brought in Dembele,Lioris and Dempsey in the last 3 days of the window..not shabby by anyones standards.

now im not saying Levy should not re organise his tactics but dont tell the man he never tried and for me did well...all those above having a pop at AVB for saying that he is happy because we have signed flair and creativity...if you think otherwise then youll never be happy.

im as disapointed as the rest of you that we didnt get Messi and Ronnie in but still we dont know how good we have got it.....and having watched all the games i know when this team clicks we will succeed because we wont start crying like chelsea players did when their best chum was left out....

everyone comparing VDV to Dempsey and but if im not mistaken there was alot of at VDV and his play last year..so give the new man who scored bags of goals for his old team a chance...Dembele is absolute class and showed it yesterday..Lioris..nothing to say on the french number 1 and captain...Sigurdsonn..well for once im confident of good set pieces...Vert just need time...as we all know centreback partnerships do need time..and ill put the late equalisers down to that misunderstanding and teething problems.

next window we will go for Alonso or Ozil otherwise AVB is going to get some serious stick on this board.

Surely we can't be going into the season with four top level, experienced stoppers on the books?

Various other countries haven't shut their transfer windows yet and there's always the option of a loan to the Championship, but I've heard absolutely nothing.
Gomes is supposedly injured, so maybe that's holding up any departure, but it's a little odd, isn't it?

Zola asked about Carlo about two months ago, but up until last week has not followed up his interest. Gomes and AVB had a disagreement over his injury as to how bad it was, with Gomes interpreting this as AVB accusing him of 'pulling a fast one', so all is not harmonious there. My understanding is that the first chance they get to offload one of them, then whoever it is, will be off.

Lol. Didn't he have the same kind of argument with Harry? I definitely remember one game the season before last where he kept complaining to the bench that he was injured and needed to come off, but Harry made him stay on.

 

I like Gomes I'm sure he's a lovely bloke, but he is a big baby and this is a serious shortcoming for a goalie in the PL.

 

Same thing happened against Young Boys - he was clearly injured (and in a lot of pain) for the majority of the match after pulling his thigh muscle, yet Harry wouldn't sub him.

Ramos got slagged off in the press for never playing Cesar Sanchez after Gomes' iffy start (which, again, was injury related - he was playing with a rib injury for the first couple of months of his Spurs career), yet Harry does the exact same thing and none of the press made a peep about it. See also their calling Ranieri and Benitez "The Tinker Man", but never doing the same when Harry meddled with our squad with disastrous consequences or the fact Man Utd haven't fielded the same team two games in a row since about 1973.

 

For such a big man, he does come over as a bit of a pussy.
