Jorge Sousa. Well done, you utter ****bag. I'm guessing that one of our fans has been at his Wikipedia entry: "Manuel Jorge Neves Moreira de Sousa (born 18 June 1975) is a Portuguese international footballreferee who has been active internationally since 2006.If you have him as your ref prepare to be disappointed because he can't ref a game properly and hands out yellow cards for fun."
allĂ ****ed it up for us but fair play with ten men we had a right good go second half just a shame the officials were so **** and gave us nothing all night .no excuse for dele that deserved a season long ban i just hope he learns from that
It's always the same in Europe the ref decisions make the result. This is why it's so difficult to win in Europe. In many way Pulis is the man to manage an English side in Europe and I hate his football. And I'm sorry but Clive Allan talks a load of bollocks
We played well tonight, just a shame the finishing wasn't there. The exit could prove to be a massive blessing in disguise in terms of the league, with city and united still in Europe.
It's one thing for Alli to **** us, but did the ref and his assistants have to make it an unwanted gangbang?
I for one am glad to see the back of that ****-up of a tournament. Never wanted us to drop into it in the first place. Perfect time to exit with players on their way back from injury and a relatively easy run of games in the league. Would love us to go all the way in the FAC - less travelling, fewer fixtures, closer to my heart. The only difficulty will be playing the SF and final at Wembley!
What I've seen of European football this season, the pathetic refereeing, feigning injuries etc, I wonder why we try so hard to get into it. Also don't think the stadium helps.
In all the years that they have had the two statues behind the goals I have never seen one contribute to the officiating
It was always thus in Europe the number of times I feel cheated out of games in the PL is maybe i or 2 a season at the very most, in Europe it's the norm.
Onward and upward. I hope all those tired legs will recover in time for Sunday. The team did a lot of running especially since Dele was sent off.
Disappointing over 2 legs on many levels. Poor away leg set us up for a tricky evening at Wembley. We had a proper go with 10 and it was scarcely believable that we had a man down at some points in the second half. From our side, Alli had to look long and hard at himself - we were effective with 10 and with 11, I think we'd have won it. We'd have retained an attacking player and been less stretched at the back. We also have to look long and hard at our defensive efforts as we were very sloppy. The officials made some real errors too, giving the corner incorrectly which they equalised from and missing a few easy 'touch' decisions throughout the game. Tempted to say that we saw the harder edge of the card count somewhat unfairly too. Long term if this means we can push on in the league and make a real go of the FA Cup, then I won't look back on this with too much sadness. But it feels harsh tonight. Davies looked better as a WB rather than a LB, but if we want to make 3 at the back viable across the course of a season then we need another CB signed - or a LB and convert Davies to CB, where he has looked very effective for Wales after all.
It's been updated... Manuel Jorge Neves Moreira de Sousa (born 18 June 1975) is a Portuguese international footballreferee who has been active internationally since 2006.If you have him as your ref prepare to be disappointed because he can't ref a game properly and hands out yellow cards for fun. Indeed just see him hand out 9 yellow cards and a 1 red card in a Spurs game. Shocking
Eriksen having a go at the ref in his post-match comments. He'll probably get a slap on the wrist for that. Or, knowing our luck, banned from all football related activity for 10 years
He was asked about the ref and avoided criticising him, blaming the team instead. Much nicer than any of us would've been, I think.
