    Tuesday 27th September 7.45pm
    Champions League Group Stage
    Arena CSKA

Three wins in seven days and we're back to the Champions League campaign, looking for our first points.
A fairly comfortable victory at the Riverside was slightly marred by a second half goal, though.
We need to make sure that we cut out those kind of errors from set-pieces.
Shouldn't have been a free-kick in the first place, admittedly.

Our hosts have had an impressive start to the season and they're unbeaten in the league.
Five wins and three draws puts them in second place, having only conceded three times in those eight games.
It seems that their solidity is massively important to them though, as they've only scored ten.
Their opening fixture in this group was a respectable 2-2 draw in Leverkusen.

CSKA's manager is Leonid Slutsky, who took charge of Russia's Euro 2016 campaign, while still at the club.
He took over in 2009 from our former coach, Juande Ramos, leading them to their first Champions League campaign.
They've won three league titles and one Russian Cup since then.

We've never been drawn against CSKA in any competition, though we did play against one of their players last season.
Lacina Traore is currently at the club on loan from one of the other sides in the group, AS Monaco.

We have no suspensions for this game, though Kane will miss out through injury.
Rose, Dier and Dembele missed the Boro game and Sissoko left the field after a blow to his head.
I expect that they'll all be assessed, but there are no reports of any other problems.

Lineups for each side's last league game:

Spurs: Lloris; Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies; Wanyama; Sissoko, Alli, Eriksen, Son; Janssen.
Subs: Vorm, Trippier, Carter-Vickers, Wimmer, Winks, N'Koudou, Lamela.

CSKA: Akinfeev; Fernandes, Ignashevich, Berezutski, Shchennikov; Golovin, Wernbloom; Tosic, Eremenko, Milanov; Traore.
Subs: Chepchugov, Nababkin, Berezutski, Ionov, Natcho, Gordyushenko, Strandberg.

Referee: Antonio Mateu Lahoz (ESP). Quite card happy, apparently.

It's a quick turnaround between this and our game on Saturday, so I'd expect some changes.
Who comes in could well be down to the availability of those that missed out on that game.
Who would you bring in and at whose expense? Do we need to tweek anything tactically?

Did some digging around. There is a Paul Stewart who plays lead piano for the Moscow Symphony Orchestra. That'll do. <ok>

Corluka is currently at Locomotiv Moscow, close enough?

Tough trip, especially coming ahead of the Man City game. Good job that match is on Sunday.

I have no real idea how good CSKA are this year, but right now I think I'd take a draw and no injuries.

I'm not sure we can afford to play Janssen. With or without him, we might win, lose or draw. If we play our only striker four times in two weeks, we're begging to be down to zero.

We bought Pavlyuchenko from Spartak Moscow and then sold him to Lokomotiv Moscow. That's close enough!

That's the S, K and A taken care of, but we're still missing the C.

And if you rearrange the s, k, a and c you get sack!

Pav was all a ploy to sack Mourinho several years down the line.

No Kane, Dier, Dembele, Rose or Sissoko in the party for Moscow. That's not great. Let's hope 4 of them are being held back for the Citeh game and not out longer term.

NONE of them should be going to parties at this time of the season, imo.

Anyone that doesn't have this on BT can watch this game live, either on their website or on freeview.
It's on channel 59 as part of their BT Showcase.

Not sure why we're posting photos of yesterday's West Scam match on our Twitter...
