If Michail Antonio and Manual Lanzini didn't play with the football version of the keystone kops, they'd be on that list.
pff, you simply look at the top of the table and choose players from there like a failed England manager.
You cannot just look at players over one (possibly flukey) season, you've got to look at them over the last two. There is only one team that has been consistent over the last two seasons, and that team is Spurs. We chased the title last season, and we are chasing it again this season. Therefore, by the very definition of this thread, the best players in the league have got to be all Spurs players. That's only logical.
Possibly. But he went from one flukey team to another. He might be the best, but, equally, he could simply be the luckiest.
Can't even achknowledge a fact the guy is a class act and is about to win 2 titles with 2 clubs. This is a better achievement than finishing 3rd and best case 2nd this season. People might have a bit of respect for you if you admitted you are wrong from time to time
Don't be stupid John, he could be caught red handed with the knife in his hands shouting 'I'm glad I killed the bastard' encircled by witnesses and would still deny it.
True that. I'd definitely say Kante is the most consistent player if that's the category for judging a player and it's over 2 years. No surprise he doesn't want to measure over 3 years as where were them lot the season before last?
Tbf I wouldnt bother if I were you CFCFFPrat, I saw the full magazine for 50p in The Works earlier. I doubt your threads would meet that value mate.
I can accept that, but don't expect your post to get a serious response when you claim one player to be better than the whole team, you seem to scoff at a very good team, yet want an objective response? If you was Skiddy making such a remark, I would hand you your arse back but since it's you Johnny boy...have a nice day my man.
Nothing personal about Spurs pal generally he makes a good point about consistency (although has chosen a period to suit Spurs) but was just pointing out Kante in terms of pure achievements would probably outdo everyone in the league over the same 2 season period as he will be the only one to win the league in the last 2 seasons. I will agree with Chelsea being crap last year and us crap the majority of this and Arsenal struggling, many Spurs players would count as the next best achievers as far as the league is concerned
Btw I wasn't saying Kante is better than the whole team, just against individuals in the team (not saying Kante would take the whole Spurs team is he played 1 v 11 ha)
