That's a Facebook screenshot but it's definitely true JGF. He's put it on Twitter and I think Instagram.

I thought it was happening long ago, clearly LJ and LT do not see eye to eye, however Tomlin has been a shadow of the player that was here before we signed him.

The best being that goal at Fulham.

Fulham goal was great as it won 3 points - similar to Villa near the start of the season.

I think the best goal he scored was the fourth against Huddersfield at the end of the 15/16 season - the type of goal only a handful of players could score. A shame we didn't see it more often. :(

100% agree Nick, that goal was special, but £25000 a week, he had to produce on a more consistent basis.

Absolutely - after his loan spell we all thought a brilliant signing, but, like a coke left out all day, he just seemed to lose his fizz. For the money saved it may be best for all concerned to see him on his way... I think I was sadder when JET left though.

Maybe he did not feel wanted by the manager,in turn his fizz just left him.
Everybody thought I was mad when he missed that penalty against Burton when he Skyed it.
That was blatantly obvious where I was sat.

JET- What on player on his day- Saw him play for Doncaster on loan against us and he took us apart- I also remember him playing for us against Port Vale in an evening game. He had a 10 minute spell where he was unplayable and we ended up 4-0 up at half time from a game that was evenly poised but with us holding a 1-0 lead. We ran out comfortable 5-0 winners that night.
Like Tomin, he could blow hot and cold- Hasn't rediscovered that touch a QPR and was last on loan at Gillingham.- Wenger rated him highly. lots of natural talent but just couldn't seem to be unlocked often enough-

JET was sussed by Wenger, Mick McCarthy, and latterly us, QPR, and even Gillingham.

No question he was talented, but ultimately he's just bone idle, and has been more than happy for all of his career to sit on the bench and take the money when he's not in a first 11 rather than ever push himself to get the consistency that could have seen him elevated to superstardom.

A real waste of talent imho.
