Nah. He was going for the ball, and caught O'Shea admittedly high, but accidentally imo. A yellow, nut not a red. Whelen on the other hand should have got a straight red for his elbow on Allen.
Match of the Day on BT Sport at the moment, Lincoln City v Forest Green Rovers, 2nd v 1st in the National League and Forest Green 1-0 up...
Off to Cappielow today to watch local team Morton take on Dunfermline.....if they avoid defeat they will have gone a whole calendar year unbeaten at home in all competitions.....glorious day up here too
Good luck there mate, considering some of the 'big guns' still in that division they're playing out of their skin for a small club...
Anyone else at a **** game today. I'm going to Barnet v Cheltenham. Hoping they release a swarm of bees before the game but bloody health and safety probably stops it.
Heading down the road to watch Dulwich Hamlet v Billericay, due to various cup runs this is Dulwich's fourth league game in seven days and most of the players have full time jobs, and the pros moan if they play twice a week!...
Thanks for your concerns lads but all was well last night. I wasn't that pissed, just merry and I didn't get within 50 yards of a trumpet. The whole game was overshadowed by the Coleman injury. I think it will give the Irish team plenty of motivation for the rest of the campaign. We maintained the 4 game gap over the Welsh with 5 games to go so a draw wasn't a bad result for us. Considering our injuries and suspensions, I was happy enough. Going again Tuesday for the Iceland friendly.
I got 2 season tickets this year Ciarrai and I do enjoy the games plus it is handy enough for me to cross the Liffey to get to the Aviva. The ST's give me opportunities to get extra tickets for friends and family as they give you access to special pre-sales and I am guaranteed tickets should we qualify for the finals. 5 of us last year at the euros paid 4.500 euros for tickets for the 3 group games - 300 euros per game each.
Anyone watching the England game? My daughter is watching Justin's House on CBeebies. I'm not convinced the football might be more enjoyable than Mr Tumble (that's not Vardy, for those without kids)
Back to the gulag for Lithuania. Fair play to the FA for still finding tens of thousands to go to these games.
