He's agreed a new 4 year contract with us according to the telegraph - http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...agrees-new-four-year-manchester-united-contr/
Kid is a massive prospect - was amazing how good your team was with him in it then without last season. Is interesting that the article is calling Valencia your first choice RB with him as the backup - is Darmian a bust?
This is not right, Jose has put Rashford in the first team squad and now given big Tim a new contract. It's just not playing the game
I'd rather another CB or RW tbh. Hasnt he already talked about a set number (23?) in the squad? Which means if we buy anyone now we'd have to sell?
Looks like Januzaj will be leaving on loan and Mata permanently so there is room there. Rumour is you are after Leonardo Bonucci - if he comes would Blind or Jones be leaving?
I think JM said when he came in that he didn't like 'utility' players, preferring instead to have 'specialists' for each position. That being the case I can see Jones ( too injury prone, just like Schweinsteiger) and Blind being the ones to go, especially as we now have Bailly and Shaw in the side.
That's almost certainly based on Valencia starting the CS when F-M was injured and Darmian wasn't fully fit. Creating a narrative of Darmian being a bust also helps the papers to drum up interest in who Utd might sell, given that we've now done pretty much all our buying. Something needs to fuel the transfer rumour mill until the window closes now all the big clubs have landed their major targets.
Didnt know where to put this and I'm not making a new thread. Mourinho told MUTV : "We lost Morgan Schneiderlin and Memphis Depay, two players who didn't play many minutes or many matches for us. "They were two players from the squad, so we need numbers and probably Axel is one of the boys that's in the academy who is more close to playing with us. "So we have brought him up to give him more experience, to make the first team more natural for him in case we need him to play in the upcoming matches and month, so he can be more adapted to us."
