Indeed, never did a team deserve a victory more than we did that day, the Dramas were appallling excuse for a football team.

My favourite No7 was Ken Harrison shown in one of the pictures above but surprisingly not included in a couple of major lists of all- time Hull City players.
Favourite game featuring Ken was in our only defeat of Man U. at Old Trafford in 1952 when he headed our second goal in the 2-0 win.

1 0 in front of 25387, Harris. Leeds colours were given in the prog as Red shirts and White knickers, less Real Madrid more Barnsley

Never saw him play for City, but played golf with him, right miserable bugger he was. Played a lot with his son, who was a very good golfer.

    Kenny?
Ye he was a misery. Played against him and both his lads. Paull I think it was. Trying to work out how old he was then, but he was hard bastard still. Threatening and kicking everyone.

Tony Harrison was who I played with, they lived opposite the 17th tee at Springhead on Wolfreton Lane, he had a younger brother but can't remember his name.

Believe Pic Harrison (?) was Tony & Kenny's old man. Played against all three once, we hammered them.

Don't know what the old man's real name was. Think they played for Humbleton at the time although Kenny may have been registered at North Ferriby.

This may be a different family altogether mind.

Sounds like it's a different family, I played with Ken and his son. The first encounter I had with Ken was when I first started playing, my Dad was with me, as he was also a member of Springhead. We were on the first tee, and one of my Dad's friends gave me a bag of practice balls so I could practice. We tee off and was walking up the first and I was carrying this bag of practice balls, and Ken came across from the 2nd and tore into my father say we should be practicing on the course. My father told him a few home truths, and told him to get his facts right before blowing off at someone.

As a matter of interest I was born in the lodge on the corner of Wymersley road, as my Grandfather was the first green keeper at Springhead, and that's where he lived.

Bear with me on this, I am trying to post some original City Psycho Magazines. They are very old and faint so have taken photos of them so hopefully they will be able to be zoomed in to read them.

Looking back at the fixture list this would have been given out at the Swansea home game 20th or 21st Oct 1978 can't remember which and I only looked 5 minutes ago.
Anyway this is Psycho Magazine number 1.
I did the Bury and Chester trips, the Blackpool game on New Years day was postponed but was booked on it. No idea which ones but for one game postponed we were halfway across the M62 and another we never set off but a load of us got the train to Beverley and went on the piss all day.
