Case now to match Huddersfield's performances til the end of the season as we've now both played same amount of games. Beat Birmingham, and the pressure will mount on Hudds with 9 games left

I really like that Abrahams. I'd like him more if he wasn't called Tammy but beggars can't be choosers. If Chelsea do sign Lukaku and keep Costa, he won't be needed there. I'd be getting in there early to discuss a move, permanent preferably, if not a loan. Tall, quick and strong. He will only get better. Natural instinct for goals. Yeah he is young and unproven at PL level but really so was Cole.

Benitez should have a good relationship with the hierarchy too. Gets on well wit Conte too.

    Leicester win. Palace win.

Looks like our 0-0 draw wasn't the worst 0-0 draw of the weekend.

7 points off safety with 10 games remaining. Has Moyes' sacking been announced yet?

And Leeds take the lead and we could draw a point away from both second and third.

    People and half empty glasses!!!!

That's not out style though. Usually the only thing we manage to get clear is our completely empty glasses!

Also this weekend, the world's biggest ****, aka Nile Ranger, scored for Southend. It saddens me than anyone is still employing this lowlife ****head.

Or you could glow warmly at how far he has dropped when he could be a PL striker!

I am sure the day will come when Newcastle will be able to compare Sunderland's football record and ability with that of Newcastle without have to get down into the gutter, though I have to admit I think it is a long way off

You certainly know how to ignore the elephant in the room. Personally I would be looking at my own team's situation but fair play to you. Hope it doesn't come as too much of a shock when you realise that this season could very well turn in to another relegation battle for Sunderland.

It most certainly would come as a shock, I cannot for the life of me understand how you could imagine such a situation developing , do you have inside information ?

Don't worry I think I've misjudged Sunderland's plight - on reflection I think they will be absolutely fine.
