This season . Where will we end up

I'm going to stick with my ITK guess from July 9th

 

''I would hope for a good run in the Europa and the other cups and a top 10 finish (hopefully 6-8th)''.

Had to go back and look. I'd like to be 6-8th, but think it will be more like 8-10th with bedding in a new manager and the Europa to contend with.

 

Yeah I know I did that in the vague hope that someone who has enough time on their hands is curious enough

 

Window is shut (sighs with relief) - 10th to 14th.

 

It really could be probably anywhere between 8th and 16th. So many variables this year!!

 

With the deadline having passed:

12th-13th in the league.
1st knockout round in Europey.
Early exit in the League Cup.
6th round of the FA Cup.

 

12th to 15th in the league
Fail to qualify from Europa group
Lose to Palace in League cup
4th round FA cup

Slightly negative (but fear realistic) but praying to be proved very wrong. New tactics, Fonte unrest, iffy start to season and average transfer dealings leave me disappointed and worried.

 

Following a very disappointing transfer window and our poor disjointed start to the season I feel we will end up around 14th, failing to get out of our Europa group and no serious progression in either of the cups.

13th to 16th. We will go on longer losing runs than winning (or at least undefeated ones)

 

Absolutely no idea. Not a flipping clue.

Between now and Chrimbo, I'd take topping our Europa group and staying well clear of the relegation places in the PL.

 

My disappointment in the Transfer Window makes me feel less hopeful.........my revised slot would be 12th to 15th. Another prediction perhaps.......Puel to be gone midway through 17/18 season...watch this space........I hope not but I have got this gut feeling.....I truly hope he proves me wrong.

Now Fran ........that really is a difficult %...........The chance of him going % wise is greater than 50% in my opinion........but as I said I hope I'm proved wrong.......oh and I still have my beedy eye on you........

Mmm...slightly optimistic with my prediction, will amend to mid table and a couple of half decent cup runs. I think we'll be a bit too short of firepower up top to really compete this season. Hope I'm wrong

 

Think we're gonna start slowly but make some solid progress in the second half of the season. 16th at Christmas, 10th in May. I'm hoping that this will mean we can focus on the cups.

I actually think Puel's (and the diamond's) strength may be in the Europa. 2nd in the group, then on to the quarters.

 

Agreed LTL, there's going to be a LOT of draws 0-0 & 1-1 as we're neither creating nor conceding lots of big chances. For all the board have said, it's not an exciting brand of football, and our wins will not be high scoring either.

 

I'd gladly settle for a lot of clean sheets; I actually think goals will come for us. It's our defence that worries me more - we haven't really solved our RB problem, Fonte is getting slower, and now Forster is injured (not seriously we hope).

 

We'll be fine. 8th-14th, some cup runs, and the idiotically entitled portion of our fanbase will moan all season long..
