Slade's attempt to intimidate the opposition- A sign copied from the one at Anfield. There is a sop to the fans- pictures of fans amongst the list of our achievements, spaced out very sparsely. It is also meant to inspire the players and remind them what it means to play for Charlton. Fine in theory, but in practice the young players know that playing for Charlton could mean a move to a decent club. There may as well be a picture of Roland, because everyone knows that it's Roland Athletic now. Slade knows he can't inspire the team so he hopes a bit of artwork will.

Most clubs have this. Most clubs have decent owners too.

If I'm chatting up a few ladies, it's something that I can deal with Elfs.

Slade talks about the players understanding the Club's history...... now what did Douche's Bitch have to say about the Club's history about a year ago? <whistle>

    Pathetic.

Talk about bells and whistles. Get the basics right first - like playing 4-4-2 at home to Rochdale & Oldham.

Worry about pretty signs and platitudes when you are better than 18th in league One.

The Twitter account @Cafcfacts has just Tweeted the You Tube highlights of our 3-2 victory over Everton at Selhurst.

30 years ago this week, 11th October 1986. I was at that game, as was @Miketyson2007 no doubt.

Everton had a very, very good side that day and we were average at best, but it is worth watching the highlights. Look at how quickly we passed the ball, look at the width we had as a team and the quality of the crosses, and look at the movement and finishing quality of Jim Melrose that day (he cost £75,000). It is light years away from the dull plodding football we are watching under Slade. What is proves is that you can play attacking attractive football on a shoestring budget. Lennie had that knack - Slade hasn't.

Have a look at the Twitter link Mike - only 3 min long but a real snapshot of what "proper Charlton" looks like on the pitch.

Agree about Tommo's perm - a bigger fashion disaster than Elf & his collection of jackets.

You are supposed to be at work man ! Who on earth wears orange attire to work?

If you did that at my place you risk being mistaken for a Lib Dem.
