I was going from late 1970, Peter Green left Fleetwood Mac mid 1970 and Janis Joplin died late 1970. Downhill all the way from then.
The driver who didn't see me, cycling in a cycle lane with lights reflective clothing and all, and put me in hospital for 6 days. Twat made me miss the 3-1 Liverpool game.
Some decades had more **** than others. Which decades of course depends on which decade was the one you were young in. Some good music in the 1920s andc1930s. Al Jolson, Glenn Miller, various blues singers...
I'm a big Robert Johnson, but pre 50's I'm not much of a fan of anything other than the Blues from the 30's/40's.
Mobile phone ring tones. Just have a ****ing ring FFS. Why does everything have to ****ing bleep or vibrate or ****ing squeak? Pot noodles....I hate cooking.
I'd chuck car drivers that aren't competent enough to handle other road users in 101. Hopeless gits they are. I'd also chuck anyone that thinks there's such a thing as a perfectly good cycle lane in there. Particularly those that think bikes should use the pot holed glass gatherers that go nowhere you'd want to, just to benefit incompetent drivers. While I'm on, I'd chuck car drivers that don't know that they're only allowed on the roads conditionally, unlike many other road users that are there as of right.
Those giant gangs of cyclists having races who just fly out of junctions without stopping and fill up the entire road. People who don't understand the road isn't a race track.
