Well ladies the spiral starts in earnest as the bottle kicks in. Out of two European competitions dumped out of the FA Cup by the champions elect now the question is can they secure third place?

Probably <laugh> Everybody expects Arsenal's season to end up as a car crash anyway. So I can still laugh at the spuds

Well here we are, crunch time for the Spuds....crushed at Wembley by the fabulous Chelsea (again). Now it remains to see how they can react away at a resurgent Palace after slaughtering Liverpool away. If Chelsea get all three points against Bournemouth tomorrow night I believe the annual bottle job will be in overdrive.

They melted in last quarter as usual.

Fans, players and club revealed their inferiority complex by turning it in when under pressure as usual

I would say it's been a greatly entertaining thread, certainly the best spiral thread on the forum. You've been an absolute embarrassment in Europe so I'd call it 5o% accurate. Arsenal were embarrassed by Bayern but were not beaten by plumbers and postmen.

Again you can thank teams like Arsenal, City, United and Liverpool underachieving for your betterment of one place but I don't suppose it'll last too long.

    It certainly has.
For months we have been enthralled whether this article has been about an
UPWARD or downward spiral by Spurs. And we'll get the answer for 2016-17
on friday. < stay tuned in to this station, kids>

Don't forget to also thank them AND Chelsky for 2015-16.

"but I don't suppose it'll last too long."

It will last from May to August at least.

I doubt in all honesty you could one place an upward spiral but then we haven't been starved of success for 56 years.
