Until you play where something's on it then the famous Spud bottle comes into play! I.e. The champions league and playing for you first title in 56 years. Yep that's the Spud way alright. <rofl>

  9. The quote you refer to are the words of the old HIAG.

Whilst I agree with his sentiment, I do think that the second sentence was unnecessarily flippant.

@Hoddle Is A God How do you feel about playing at Wembley next season?

Could the -tive spiral continue... or get worse ??

  11. If you are talking about the spiral of success in the Prem, then I think next season is going to be extremely challenging for us. For us to make top 4 next season, with the distraction of playing at a new ground, I think would be a massive achievement. If we finish outside the top 4 next season, I don't think anyone should be surprised, or draw any adverse conclusions from it.

If you are talking about a spiral in our European form, that doesn't concern me. We had a difficult European campaign this season, for all the reasons that I have already mentioned. It could be the case that, next season, our form in competitions outstrips our form in the league.

But you won't be able to play your FA Cup and League cup games at Wembley.

If you played Millwall at Wembley, 40k Spurs fans, 10k wall and 30k empty seats, surely you are losing Three Point Lane advantage

You are being wilfully argumentative, I think!

Let's just say that I think most Spurs fans would rather we played all of our home games at the Lane, and that we expect the next two seasons to be turbulent.

    Top bantz, Luvvy.

However, I think the point that CFC is trying to make is that, should we replicate next season our form this season at Wembley, we could be in danger of being relegated.
