OK, so why don't we have a general chat thread on this little forum of ours.

This will be better than the not606 general chat thread due to the top quality input from the regular contributors on the Barnsley forum!

 

Oh bugger, so I'v started a general chat thread and I am struggling to come up with anything useful to type on it, mind you that seems to be the norm with these kind of threads.

I should be OK here, if I could get paid to talk s**t I would have been a millionaire years back...

 

OK here is some pointless crap from me. I was looking at some of today's news headlines, I have selective reading and like to take things out of context.


Eating Disorders Costing UK Economy £8bn

Eating disorders are estimated to cost the UK economy £8bn, according to a new report.

The findings, commissioned by charity Beat, highlight inconsistent access to treatment as one of the factors to blame.

I assumed the £8bn was going to be due to lost food sales being skinny people don't eat much.....

 

And an old one for fun while I am talking about taking the news out of context...

Going back to the food thing, fat people must add a few £$£ to the economy due to buying more food than skinny people. I always try to look at the other side of the argument and look at any positives.

 

Is food taxed apart from fast food and in restaurants, and don't like fat people except me and that tarabut that plays for QPR

 

Good question, apart from VAT I'm not sure. I think the government, not sure which one put a tax on fatty foods depending on how they are prepared and sold.

I'm one of the lucky ones, I'm not fat (yet) and do eat some crap!

 

It seems to me that most of the good things in life are bad for you in one way or another. I'm in the ignorance is bliss camp, whatever bad stuff I like eating or doing I will carry on until my doctor tells me to stop!
