Thread updated. Bradford remains in league 1 following their defeat today in the league 1 play off final. 1 team left to complete next seasons league 1 which will either be Exeter or Blackpool who are in league 2's play off final.

Hoped that Bradford would have won today but I suppose that our policing bill will go down now that Millwall have been promoted

One of our released players have found a club. Danny Greenslade has joined Weston (where he was on loan last season for a period of time). Good luck to him.

Another released player of our has found a club. Jamie Lucas has joined Bath in National League South. Thought he could do a good job in the National League so im surprised he has dropped to Bath's level.

Wish we'd gone for Exeter's Ollie Watkins for last season. He's now likely to end up with a Championship club.

When was the last time we signed a player this early? It always seems to be quite late... perhaps it saves a couple of months wages?

Perhaps it means that the players prefer to know where they are playing next season and we are going to get the leftovers

Thing is, most players that will be out of contract with their parent club, wont actually be free to join until 1st July. I am sure we have offer deals to many targets. But these targets will be hanging on for better deals elsewhere right up to 1st July. Unless we offer silly money which would convince him to sign now, we just got to be patient <ok>

I seem to remember that Ellis Harrison is usually one of the last to sign.

He might be worth a punt on one year contract doesn't look like he played a game for Wigan whilst on loan. He's only played 85 games in the last 5 years. Probably wages will be to much though.

My view of DC is that he is very methodical; a bit dour; and likes to take his time before making long term decisions. He made it clear at the end of the season that he expects his ambition is to be supported by the Board in financing a Championship club. IMO it would seem that DC will have spent many hours watching games to decide who he would like to bring in to the club. I'm also sure that the players he wants will know that they are included in his plans. Unlike a near neighbour, he doesn't major on knee jerk reactions. Everything is thought through very carefully. Time will tell!!

Tom Lockyer called up for the full Welsh training squad ready for their World cup qualifier against Serbia 11th June. He is travelling to Portugal next week as part of a 26 man squad. I would like to wish Tom all the best and I hope he makes the match squad
