When the top 3 drivers are interviewed in the press conference (before the various reporters ask their own questions), who asks the questions?

I think sometimes it is David Croft and other times it is James Allen.

Will Bernie take a helicopter into the circuit to avoid getting stuck in the mud again? If it rains he's bound to be asked the question - any volunteers?

-When was the last time the wrong national anthem was played?

-I remember the flags going up wrong not so long ago, but specifically when did the the flags go up on the podium wrong last also?

I don't know for sure. I fancy tomcat might be able to answer the first one as I think it was for Red Bull when they played the British national anthem instead of the Austrian.

The Canadian race organisers had the Belgian flag above German drivers' garages last month but I'm not sure about a podium mix-up. Irvine got the Irish flag once, I think.

Oh god, they let james allen ask questions? "So, why are you three worse than lewis hamilton?" (Typical example)

The podium questions are nearly always popped by David 'err' Croft.

This guys commentary is a bit sickly and has the most ridiculous number of "err"s, sometimes interspersed between syllables of the same word; and at least once in a six digit phone number which he says so often that there can be no doubt he knows it by heart: "Eight double one err eight double one". Actually it drives me nuts…

i like crofty. I think the 5live commentary is excellent, apart from the name pronounciation. I'm sure a certain force india driver would get irritated at being referred to as "adrian sootil"

Does anyone know whether, had Honda not pulled out, the Brawn BGP 001 would have been even faster?

From what I know of it, the car was somewhat of a botch job due to having to use the Mercedes engine (and possibly gearbox?) and that they had to cut holes in the bodywork to fit everything in.

The Mercedes engine is widely regarded as the best engine in F1 so my question really is did having the Mercedes engine improve the car despite compromising the bodywork or would it have been even better with the original Honda engine in it and perfect body work?

Does anyone know what the Honda engine was actually like? The cars before they quit were diabolical, but was the engine itself a match for other units?

You'd have to say that by logic it would be quicker with the engine it was designed for, but the Mercedes can run quite hot, so needs small radiators etc, so maybe the packaging actually improved the car?

I'm sure the question has been asked before, I just wasn;t around when it was to know the answer!

Not sure about the engine itself, but apparently Honda had a very, very good Kers system.

Good question but I have no idea what the answer is only that they would of certainly been able to develop the car more than Brawn was able to.

    What is a "pontoon"?

I suspect it means the sidepod but I'm not entirely sure.
