The season starts with a bang..

You big lads sitting there in the Premier league, arguing about who's chest puffs the most, who's god is better, whose ground has the best echo's but in the melee of it all, your ex-compatriots of 10 years (cough) starts it all away on Friday night..

I am sure you lads will be well and truly behind the lads of Sunderland, for some hypothetically, for some a reality somewhere in the world but it's the opener (pardon the pun)..

You know what the beautiful thing is, we love Sunderland as you lads love your teams too, have a great season, be safe and enjoy..

I am . You know I always loved watching a good relegation battle.... till last season . Good luck , your relegation last season was a bit weird for me , I had the popcorn out and was ready to watch you pull another rabbit out your hat ...

 

Was never going to be a rabbit last season, the only rabbit was the lop-eared clown that had managed us all season, that pulled his pants down after 2 games and said, 'hi I'm David, I'm negative, I'm good at cribbage though. The man killed it for us before the season started, talk about riding a false reputation. You need to keep the star man like, he makes you tick as a team..

 

The only time I pull my pants down is when I'm on the throne or the old lady wants to run her hands through my hair . I got to tell you , I thought you guys would have a good season right out of the gates ... Just goes to show you what I know . Sunderland have the means to come back up this season , next for sure IMO

 

I hope so but we have a disinterested but very wealthy owner. Would love it to be a great season, back to the old proper grounds and stuff but Friday night will tell us fans a lot. Will never give up the ghost of my team, I just wish my situation at home warranted more matches..
