If we end up with a hung parliament or a small Tory majority..... Brexit talks will be very interesting....

Blue in the South - Red in the North?

Lib Dems to do better but SNP and UKIP to lose seats?

Total disaster for the PM if this is correct. When will she go?

Interesting to see how it pans out.... last time they underestimated the Tory vote.... I imagine there will be nuances which may push it either way too

It does not pay to upset the blue rinse brigade. You can see why Cameron kept the oldies sweet.

Let's wait and see, but what total waste of money that the country doesn't have.

Do you think the events of the past week or so would make a difference because the Tories relied on the Brexit deal to get them the votes but people will have doubts about them cutting costs on NHS and policing?

It would be funny if Salmond and Robertson lost their seats to the Tories.

Whatever you want to see from this, it clearly shows that the country has not come together. The whole Brexit thing has been dreadful for the well being of the country.

Exit polls vs actual results on Newcastle and Sunderland suggest Tories doing better on actual votes....

Looking slightly better for the Tories. The UKIP support has crashed. I cannot see this parliament lasting five years.

The devil will be in the detail in specific seats.... but yes looks to be the worst possible result for a strong and stable country ( no pun intended)

So far the two main parties have increased their support at the expense of the minor parties, the Lib Dems, Ukip, Greens etc. Ruth Davidson seems to have made excellent progress in Scotland.

Not sure I fancy staying up much longer!!

It is nice to be able to watch this during the day!
I have a question - Are the exit polls based on individual seats or on the country as a whole? If it is the latter I would have expected a lower shift to Labour in the North-East where Brexiters seem to be in a large majority.

They were based in seats all over....but difficult to disaggregate...

However Labour doing well in Wales where Tories hoped to get seats....
