Hmm, Larsson put his house up for sale in Cleadon just before the end of the season, thought that was all done and dusted for him going.

Jonjo Shelvey isn't quick and he bossed the midfield in the championship last season. Seb is as good a passer as Shelvey IMO. Sometimes reading the game is much more important than being quick and O'Shea reads the game very well.

I'm glad O'Shea is (probably) staying - Larsson if he stays fit will be good in the Championship

I wonder if it was a 'No Sale, No Fee' deal?

Where abouts in Cleadon does Seb live?

I would keep O'Shea and make use of him in a coaching capacity at some level. I think he is a great positive character.

Seb will get better offers elsewhere which we will not be able to match

We'll need strong, determined characters this season ..... Larsson is easily good enough for that level and we'd do well to hold onto him.

Signing a replacement would cost around £3 million so why take the risk?

We know what Larsson is capable of providing the likes of Watmore can provide runners and an outlet.

    I'd want them all gone.

I've wanted Oshea gone for years but we are so short at centre back a one year deal may not be disastrous as we'll still need to buy two centre halves this window.

There's no place for Larsson. Centre mid is one position we are fairly stcaked in. He's not even as good as the youngsters like Honeyman, Embleton, Ethan Robson. We have Catts, Ndong Rodwell Gibson.

Larsson has to go! Wages better spent elsewhere.

If arguing with officials, random pointing, duffing set pieces and no pace whatsoever makes him determined then I would agree with you - my opinion

I don't rate him, and I don't think we need him.

I understand about the transfer fee for a replacement, but I'm not sure we need one with the emergence of Honeyman, and N'Dong. Also with him being on a Bosman now we will have to commit to a high wage

I can see why people want rid of Seb as he's not all that good but he wouldn't be on much money, he has a little bit of quality and perhaps most importantly he's versatile. I don't get the feeling that the players we'll be looking to bring in will be much better than him if they are at all.

I don't know if he's just stopped bothering practicing set pieces or what but if he could get back to his best with them then he'd make himself more useful.

Thing is with seb is he'll have offers, something tells me we won't be offering the most lucrative contract. Confident he'll leave off his own back. John O'Shea is sounding like a man without the offers to maintain his lifestyle. Of course he wants to stay. We'll be daft if we keep him imo
