Yeah certainly your cup final as you drew and lost the other two and it didn't work then. The only difference last time was you potted both chances we missed ours but it was a narrow but deserved win on the night.
Both games were tight. As I'd expect against a good side. Pedro put you back on track with a cracker in the game at the bridge. At WHL we seemed to outthink you and looked comfortable for most of the game.
Agree but the Poch block and long balls to Alli won't get you too far at top level. see CL Chelsea game was one off
I get what you're saying and yes we need a reliable playmaker. Eriksen is very good on his day, but he blows hot and cold. As to Allí. If you're referring to the two goals at WHL, I think MP spotted a weakness and went after it. From your point of view, you fell for the same trick twice. Something I'm sure a manager of Conte's calibre has taken on board.
Its a learning curve and Poch definitely seems to learn from his lessons barring the odd brain fart...I think we will improve in the CL once we are in it on a regular basis, if it gets to that. He had Conte's number and out foxed him with a formation that had earned you 13 wins on the bounce.
Agreed but long balls to delle Ali won't work every week. You guys seem obsessed with that match. Fair to say it is high point of your season
Don't think they're obsessed with that match mate. They matched our formation and it worked well. The game was close and they took 2 chances, it's no biggie as far as we're concerned.
I'm rather looking forward to another Whinger hissy fit. Might be better if The Goons just gave him his bottle back and let him kick **** out of that!?
Who will finish 2nd? Not a clue. City are certainly capable of going on a winning streak. So thats where im picking.
It was a nice point of the season, not the high point. It's good to talk about the nice things. You should know because you only post on here when things are 'nice'.
It wasn't just that you lost one game, though, is it? We, the mighty Spurs, prevented you from getting the Prem record. That is something we will always be able to brag about. I'm sure our boys will be singing songs about that, at the Bridge, for many, many seasons to come. That's got to hurt?
