Right, various work related things have put me in a foul mood after the ecstasy of last night so I am going to inflict this divisive poll on you, just like we are suffering a 5 month election campaign of unmitigated tedium already.

One board member, one ANONYMOUS vote. Your name will not be shown, so you do not need to reveal your political affiliation. You can change your vote whenever you want, as the force of argument presented by our brilliant politicians shapes your views. Or because you fancy one of their candidates (as long as it's not Chuka Umunna). Whatever.

In an ideal world the thread will have no posts but lots of votes and could actually track changes in feeling. But I suspect it will be closed sharpish for multiple reasons. It is of course open to huge abuse, especially by posters from other boards, just like real opinion polls and real voting itself if Hackney and Birmingham are anything to go by.

Apologies to our Northern Irish and Welsh Nationalist colleagues, I ran out of option space.

I will start, but my selection won't tell you much. After the court case I may be a commoner or even residing at Her Majesty's Pleasure, if not an asylum.

You might need to bump this if no posts allowed.

Posts are allowed (how could I stop them) but if people are voting and there are no posts I'll bump. Good discipline so far......

Did you not read the OP mate? If people want that discussion that's up to them, but the poll is simply an anonymous tracker.

No judgement implied on people's selections.

I'd vote SNP but they haven't got a candidate in Croydon North. They promise so many good things that everyone else will pay for!...

No, no, no, "we've got oil to pay for it", so said every Yes campaigner in the refernedum that took place 6 months before they said we need to bail the oil industry out. <laugh>

Seriously though, and trying to avoid too much comment on it, there's no everyone else will pay for it about what they offer. They promise good things like "free" university for residents of Scotland, but cut other things for us that they don't talk about, things that are probably more important and more beneficial to the poor/working class, like guarantees on cancer treatment that exist in England.

You have raised a point though, with the SNP only standing in Scotland you do become very identifiable in an anonymous poll if you say you're voting for them.

Voter apathy. It seems those that think that "they're all the same" can't even be bothered to say so in your poll, Stan.

    I've voted Stan.

It's blue, it's red, it may as well be yellow or green instead.

Voter apathy is highly prevalent on here and in real life.

The more the main parties try to portray UKIP as a party of Extremists the more likely I am to vote for them.

I tire of being told what's right and wrong by the middle class who can barely behave themselves. I have this unerring feeling that a the better UKIP do the better the main parties will have to perform.

Or as Labour did in Rotherham with its recently kicked out councillors, get them to pretend to be an impromptu demonstration against the far right.

Really in Rotherham! where the council abjectly failed in their duties of care to the young and vulnerable. They now think they can protest about the far right (or UKIP as they call themselves) because it doesn't fit with their dogmatic dystopian view of a world they allowed so much horror to exist in.

The locals voted in 9 UKIP councillors after the disgraceful show put on by Labour, someone define out of touch for me here?

I will never vote labour, ever. An underclass of failures, leading us ever towards greater failure.

Time for some conviction in our politics.
